This is your first race. You can use any car and don't even need to win, just finish the race. You will unlock the achievement as long as you don't quit out.

You don't even need to finish the race. I quit out to the main menu right after the race started and still got the achievement.

Same here I just straight up skipped it with an alt account I was using for the online achievements and the alt account still got it anyway.

Story-related and cannot be missed

After you have opened your first blind box that you are presented with at the start of the game, you will then need to choose a vehicle to use for the tutorial race. Simply complete the race to unlock the trophy.
