How to unlock the Master of drift achievement in HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED - Definitive Guide

  • Find a track wuith large open off track area. (I used Smoke and Flames)
  • Drift in a circle for a few minutes to add some to total or pop the acheivement right away
I found myself having to grind this after City Rumble mode. Achievement will unlock when needed, don't need to finish the race

I am not sure dounguts count. I have rubber banded my controller and have been doing this for about an hour hour and that is also after playing the game for about 5-6+ hours already. It's very annoying when you can't track achievements.

Edit: So about 5 minutes after posting the above message on my next race this unlocked. So still can't say if this worked or not. Perhaps someone can confirm if they just do this from the start and it unlocks on the same attempt.

Donuts do count. I just got mine doing them. Took about 2 minutes as I had done the entire game already.

Grinding this is a waste of time. I popped this already without doing any of this, just playing through City Rumble and Ive only half way through it

This is practically unmissable and you will probably earn it before you even complete the Hot Wheels City Rumble mode. It's very easy to rack up 5,000-10,000 centimeters whilst drifting on specific tracks due to how the gameplay works. You will be drifting extremely frequently without even trying most of the time. There is no need to go out of your way for this.
