How to unlock the Lone Wolf achievement in Hotel Transylvania 3: Monsters Overboard - Definitive Guide

Once you receive the wolfimpas, to back to the first island and only bring 1 wolfimpas from the second portal. Work your way back to the single crab between portal 1 and 2. Send the single wolfimpa in to attack but remember to call it back when the crab raises its claw to attack and when it begins charging its rush attack. It will take a few minutes but once they crab is defeated, the achievement will trigger.

If you do this after getting the treasure chests, he gains a strength powerup which will help.

Good solution I got him as close to the tree as possible and he kept hitting it which stuns him. Only hit him twice though when stunned then run. He eventually got stuck in the tree backwards and i finished him off.

Would recommend waiting to do this until after you get the upgrade for Wolfimpa's (one of the middle treasure chests IIRC). Doesn't make it any easier, just a little shorter & thus less tedious.

Reduce your group to just a single Wolfimpa, find a lonely crab, and fire that imp at the crab. Let him hit it once, maybe twice if you're feeling brave, then make it retreat.

Back away, and rinse and repeat. Video showing it:

Go to any Impa Portal and select to use only 1 Wolfimpa. Now go to find a single crab to kill. You need to repeat the process of pressing to charge your Wolfimpa at the crab and pressing to recall him. when you see the crab about to attack with the claw or charge.
