The best way that I've found to do this, and any other "Cops & Robbers" related achievements, is to play on Area 41 in the Desert region with Aston's BullDog. It's a very fast car that has great acceleration and handles drifting perfectly.

You're going to want to do your donut as early in the race as possible so you can focus on getting your checkpoints faster which will get you more money and get you your win. To do a donut, hold

while holding left on your

. Now after you complete your donut, just finish the race as quickly as possible and you should get first place which will net you the achievement.

I've had multiple friends attempt these achievements under the same guidelines and they had no issues. Let me know if you have any other questions.

If you were struggling on this like I was you could do this online private with boosting friend or if you have another account on different xbox you as the only robber & friend cop made it alot easier in my opinion

I keep losing by a few dollars. It's getting quite annoying. I get to first checkpoint do donut then quickly overpass everyone and hit finish line first yet I keep losing?

I second the request for more info on how to do a donut and how to tell when it counts. Finally finished in first after too many attempts in this shitty ass cheating mode, and still didn't get the achievement.

I've wrote a complaint to Curve Digital to rework the cheating AI in this motherfucking mode. They clearly do not know the definition of 'fair'.

I had a little trouble with the timing on this as well. What worked for me was setting up for a 2p online 3 lap race. I spent the first 2 laps earning boost and trying to get as far ahead on the money clock as I could. Then, in the third lap I slowed down to grab the first money, did the donut, and used my accumulated boost to make sure I could get to the end of the race without running out of money.

You can boost it with just a 2nd controller at online mode. Put the guest profile as the cop and do your thing (2 robbers, you and the AI, and 1 cop, the second controller). The cops AI on the game are pathetic!

Or local multiplayer most of these achievements can be done if you have 2nd controller & turn all bots off.

Can anyone provide a little more detail on doing a donut? I've tried using a drift car at different speeds, and have only managed to do a burnout-donut twice; the rest of the time I basically slide around and hit the guardrail.

Start a Cops & Robbers single race and keep the difficulty on Normal. Select a car with good acceleration/drifting. Stay toward the back of the pack at the start, but get to the first check point quickly. Before going through the first checkpoint, complete a quick donut. Now just focus on not becoming a cop and getting to the front of the pack to earn the highest score.

You can boost this yourself. Log in with 2 extra controllers. Go to online and then host game. Set the max number of racers to 3 and the number of AI racers to zero. Once on the start match screen press to move over to the players section, and from there press or and you will see the ? beside the player name change to a cop or robber icon. When the race starts, find yourself a bit of space and then whilst driving along slowly (but not too slow) do a donut by pressing brake and accelerate repeatedly and quickly. I have found this works by alternating brake and accelerate and doing them at the same time, so you just need to find what works for you. Once you have done a donut, drive alone to the next checkpoint to increase your cash and make sure that you are the winning robber.
