I did get it, but I'm definitely not using Mike for money grinding, even though I'm gonna have to eventually use his cars again because of the customization achievements. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten screwed over due to the AI. I don't think they'll ever recommend GP 4 because of track 3, it must've been too hard to rely on, and plus I'd already done GP 4 with a different character, but good job.

Leaving me downvotes is fine on this but the people who do it need to learn there is NO easy way to cheese these achievements you need to have some level of skill and luck at racers because the AI is awful at times.

If your going to downvote tell me exactly why and I will make amends if you have something worth reading. If your just going to moan that I can't give you a solution to do this in a minute with no effort then I'll remove the solution and leave it bare like it was beforehand.

I've told you all the best car (IMO) with the worst character.

+1 from me , almost first try but I hate the 3rd track on GP4 and with this car it’s even worse got 6th but all others 1st place so it’s definitely the best. And yeah it’s just annoying to make even solutions with all the people downvoting without a comment or downvoting bc they can’t get it ..

Somehow got it with 1st, 3rd, 8th, and 1st. Never could figure out that horseshoe turn on the third course.

If you're reading these comments in desperation - it's not just you. Mike's cars suuuuck.

This one has the highest TA Ratio of the character GP achievements, with good cause. Other than the Eagle, all of his cars are just too slow. I tried all of them (although only on GP1 tbf), and even races without mistakes and judicious use of boosts would see me 3rd or 4th consistently. We all know The Strategy^TM by now - save boosts til the final half or third of the final lap; I found even that didn't help in most of Mike's cars, because I was just too far behind to catch up by that point.

So, the Eagle. This thing is fast, but the handling is extremely sensitive. It has a very low stability (hidden stat which controls how easily a car enters into a no-brake drift), and it will throw you into a wall at the first opportunity. This makes those rage-inducing AI slams all the more dangerous, and roads that you thought were straights will suddenly become chicanes. Looking at you, the approach to The Marina's final hairpin...

So this will take some practice - about 2 hours for me. Try to keep steering inputs on straights to a minimum, and practice ending your drifts perfectly in line with the following straight - don't over steer, as it's easy to fishtail while correcting, and you'll end up in the outside wall.

Learn the tracks, especially the tougher corners - the traditional out-in-out racing line can make all the difference, and you can even straightline some if you get the angle right (like the left-hander before the first tunnel at The Marina). Remember where the problem bumps are too, as some of these can kickstart an unwanted drift. It's worth keeping going even if you have a bad race - better to be well-prepared for when an attempt does go well, than get to the last race and lose it because you've barely driven that track.

Use the 'auto-drift' to your advantage - learn which corners will initiate a drift without tapping the brake so you can save some speed.

In the end, I won with 1st/1st/3rd/1st, but only by one point (46 to 45) because Alexa decided to go beast-mode on me and be the leading AI in every race. In earlier attempts I saw the winning AI get a much lower score (high 30s), so don't give up if you fluff a race, your nemesis for that attempt might have a bad race too.

After an hour of practice, I somehow managed to win while getting 1st place in all races.

I did this first try just by playing the first GP on Mikes car "Athena" honestly this game is just drifting skill if ur not great at the drifting in this game you're gonna struggle hard

I got it on the 2nd grand prix with the eagle. All the cups weren't working out for me.

GP3 is horrible for the “Eagle” car of Mike. Controls really bad, especially for the last 2 races. I won the 3rd GP with Aston’s Bulldog. No negative or something, as it’s only my preference.

Got it with the Bullet on my 2nd try, that thing's way easier to handle than the Eagle but those last two races were still a pain especially with the low top speed.

That damn Shelby Daytona knockoff suffers from way too much bodyroll, came 2nd yet lost in a tiebreak for 1st on 42 points.
