Hotshot Racing

This achievement can be easily boosted with a second controller logged in to a guest account.

In the main menu navigate down to online and press right to change from 1P to 2P. Press the menu button on your second controller to add them.

Now you're in the online menu navigate down to host game. Make sure the server type is set to invite only so you don't have to worry about anyone else joining.

From here you can choose your race settings. I went with:
- The Marina
- Arcade
- Normal
- 1 lap
- 0 AI count

and then start! It should only be you and your second controller in the lobby, so you're free to rinse and repeat the game nine times until the achievement pops.

(Whilst you're doing this, you can earn the 'Show Off' achievement for reversing over the finish line and coming first in a race, the 'Pacifist' achievement for completing a race without colliding with another player, and the 'Redemption Arc' achievement for stalling your engine at the start line and still finishing first!)

Boosting with a second controller or a second player in private sessions works, so if you want to cheese it that's the best way. If you're playing solo, make sure you get this achievement as soon as possible because indie racers like these often have their population drop drastically after mere days or weeks, and since public matches will not start with any less than 4 human players, you'll be in trouble getting this one. Drive well by drifting in fast corners and using boosts coming out of slow turns, avoiding contact with walls where possible and you'll be winning races. Any game mode counts for this achievement.
