I did this straight after the Mount Everest achievement.
You can sprint by clicking in
, but it's not locked to forward momentum; meaning you can sprint backward and in every other direction.
I purchased a house, removed all exterior objects/ potential obstacles, started up a sprint with, and circled around the entire property using the same stick.
You don't need to use
because, as stated above, you continue your sprint whatever direction you choose. So, just take a few laps to get used to a route of when to turn with .
Use Achievement Tracker on the Xbox to monitor progress, and just keep going; it will unlock eventually.

A decent place to use is to buy the house called "House on Stilts" then sell everything at ground level. The house is held up by one beam so you have all the ground area to run around freely.
