This achievement description is a little misleading. It says you need earn your first million Euro, but it is not cumulative. You must have one million in your account balance at one time.

Thanks for the detailed explanation! I was a bit worried that some achievements are miss-able because I already sold houses needed for achievements but when I saw that no achievements are miss-able, I was a tad confused. Thanks for clearing things up.

The simple way of doing this is switching to euros in the settings and just playing through the game. Finishing the game by doing all the jobs and selling all houses will get you close to a million. I would recommend doing all the jobs to 100% first as this is a tedious portion and will get you a nice chunk of change to start buying and selling houses with.
Once you finish those just buy houses in ascending price order. Purchase, clean the house, whoever is the top buyer on the side ones just check their info in the tablet and tailor it to the buyers points. They will pay more this way. I never painted anything or changed tiles. Only fixed anything that’s broken, plastered holes in walls and cleaned thoroughly. Generally this and a setup of the buyers preferences will net you a decent profit giving you more headway for the next house.
Continue this through the list, your goal is to sell every house, whether it’s a profit or loss it does not matter. Realistically you can just clean and sell but your ultimate goal is to be able to afford the end houses as they get expensive. Once you sell all houses and provided you’ve competed all the jobs you can now re purchase the houses as much as you’d like. Just buy the moon house and sell it immediately. You’ll net 75k euro profit every time. And a few times you’ll have a million.

I've been able to routinely buy and sell a house for close to a million euros each time (500k profit). Unfortunately you must have a little bit of seed money to buy the house on the moon, at 402,814 euros and some change for renovation/furniture 16K should be sufficient.
Aiming for this may allow you to get

Buy the House on the Moon, clean and remove all trash. Once you have done this sell the four single beds all kitchen items, store room shelves and interior doors.
Move the dining table and chairs into the old kitchen space, and move the sofas, chairs and cabinet at the end of the corridor to where dining table was. Move the office equipment into the room that had the 4 single beds. Replace all interior doors.
Place a wall and doorway into the new living room and one at the end of the corridor between the last interior door and the exterior doors this will become a small kitchen.
Divide the main corridor into 3 sections using 2 lintels one above the double doors and the other between the exterior doors and first internal door.
In the 3 corridors use expensive rugs, clocks, ceiling lights look for comments from Dolan like "rich looking" and "More More I want them to know who their dealing with".
Convert the old store room into a home library.
In the office put expensive electronic equipment, a rug, desk lamp and picture.
Put 3/4 thin tall bookshelves in every room as Dolan likes somewhere to keep his documents.
If all has gone well when you come to sell Dolan Trusk should be at the top of the list with no complaints and an offer of around 800/900K.

It would be better to do this achievement after finishing the game (sell all houses once).

Go to the house, go downstairs and break the wall on the left, next to the junction box. Sell everything in the secret room (armchair, sideboard and the valuable painting). Sell the house afterwards. You will make a profit of $60.000 - $65.000 in less than 2 minutes. Repeat everything until you have enough money.
