Open your tablet, open the garden tab, select plants, then edible plants, find the carrot and plant them. Players have noted different amounts will pop the achievement, anywhere from 30-60 carrots should pop the achievement (any house with a yard will work)

Most of the plants are really just decorations or add points towards garden contest. From what I can recall most plants don't grow over time as of the time of writing this guide

Is anyone else having trouble with this achievement? The game crashes every time I try to buy the carrot's or any food from the Garden dlc and I don't know how to fix it.

It might just be a delayed pop for some people. I just kept spamming carrots and it unlocked somewhere around 40 carrots for me!

Not a great guide at all unless I'm missing something. I planted 40 carrots and nothing is happening. Do we wait for the carrots to grow?

Just keep planting carrots until the achievement pops. It doesn't matter what house or if it has a garden. I had to plant around 60 carrots.
