Ascuas island can be accessed via two other island (Cenizas Island and Horno Island). The first time you want to access Ascuas Island you need to access it from Cenizas Island. On Cenizas Island you have two possible exits to Ascuas Island, one exit point the north (you will enter Ascuas Island on the east side) and one in the south (you will enter Ascuas Island on the south side).
Once you've been on Ascuas Island you can create a connection to Horno Island by exiting Ascuas Island on the south side via the lift. You will enter Horno Island on the north.

On Cenizas Island you will have to craft a Blower (Harpoon Grip + Jerry Can + Flare Tube + Motorcycle Engine + Boat Helix + Hardware) as well as Fireproof Boots (Old Boots found in a shack + 3x Asbestos found in the toxic mist areas) to be able to proceed on Cenizas Island. Once you have these you'll proceed to the northwest part of the island where you'll ride a lift to Ascuas Island and the achievement will unlock.
