Theres a visual of WeighingBrutes guide at the very bottom

For this achievement you want to load up challenge 3 and follow the 3 videos below. There are 3 videos because some people have a lot of trouble with this so i made 3 ways to get it just in case 1 or 2 videos dont work for you.

The right lane is the fastest way but could take multiple attempts and is all about luck. The left lane guides take about 10-20 seconds longer but are more effective and the second left lane video seems to be more effective than the first but all 3 videos work.

If you get any enemies that have armor on during one of your runs then its best to just get eaten by zombies since theres no restart button.

Ill leave the video below and a written version of it below the video

Theres 3 ways to get this achievement
1) The Left Lane has 2 versions

You must Grab the sten gun and 2 ammo packs and then go through the left and grab the meat and then throw it in a spot where it will distract all the zombies and then kill the bomber on the dock and put in the spark plugs. Sometimes it doesn't let you put the spark plug in because it says theres zombies around which is the only thing that can mess this up

2) The Right Lane (WeighingBrutes Method)

If you wanted to you could go to the right instead of the left and kill the zombies and the bomber, then grab the meat and throw it so you can put in the sparkplugs without any zombies bothering you.

Hopes this helps pm me or comment if you have any questions or anything to add to the solution. If you give me a negative vote please comment or pm why so i can fix it.

Left lane did it for me pretty well, note that it's always random where zombies spawn (except for the boomer on the bridge).
The issue with the meat-bait is only an issue as long as the bait is on the ground, no matter how far away.
To use it properly, you'd better kill the 3-5 zombies and the boomer then grab the bait and throw it to the far left.
Head to the plane and keep tapping LB until you see the bar filling and hold it down.
Should be enough time to get it finished.

Got it using the 1st video, thanks.

My failed attempts were due to not clearing initial zombies fast enough and not throwing the meat far enough away.

So annoyed with you!! You post an EASY video for the IRONMAN achievement... angry Where's your IRONMAN easy-to-do video??

FINALLY got this.. after probably 30-50 tries. The right side worked, no meat(when I used meat it disabled the spark plugs, and they zombies always came too fast once it started installing), for once all the zombies weren't armored, they died fast, and no more came running while I was installing the spark plugs. You need to update your solution to reflect how RNG this is!!

I took a clip of my playthrough.. it might include several of my failed playthroughs. Still need to edit it.

Yeah, there was no need for three nearly identical methods. It's 100% luck, either you get no armored zombies and no extra ones to interrupt you while you put in the plugs, or you lose. That's all there is to it.

So fucking broken. No enemies nearby and it wouldn't let me put the plugs in, did another lap and 2nd meat and rushed back... still wouldn't even though it took 30 seconds for enemies to appear on screen again

I think for some reason if the meat is active... then it won't let you put the plugs in...

No enemies on screen. Still would not let me put in the spark plug. Ran back to the wall (no zombies in sight) then back to the plane. Halfway there and then zombies show up. I have tried this at least two dozen times. It is random as puck.

After 1 hour and a half tryng this, I gave up. This is buggy as hell. No matter how far I throw the meal, no matter how path I take... It always says "enemy nearby".

See my comment above--I think when the meat is active you can't use the spark plugs..

That could be a factor but I feel like that might not be why. I think the game is just shit.

Its impossible if u use meat, this guide is counterproductive

Thumbs by me, but when using the meat it was not possible to use the spark plugs as other players have stated, it should be included in the solution as it has happened to a lot of people

I started trying it on Normal and it made no substantial difference.

Does this require higher-level gear or stats/anything from finishing the campaign first? That's the only thing I can think of.

Perhaps, I was 3 islands in on my campaign so my stats where slightly improved and I had some skills unlocked. But non that could be beneficial for this.

The “monster nearby, can’t repair” is taking my will to live. Something like 20 attempts now, some perfect, where I’m sat trying repair and have a solid 5-10s before a zombie even reaches the screen... and other times there’s one next to me and it still allows it - the whole “feature” should be scrapped.

Sorry, down vote for advising to use meat. After reading comments this was really easy and fast without ever using the meat... Also, just RNG on the zombies you get. Kill them fast and then pray when placing plug.

Just managed it using this method - left-hand lane. Try copy the video, rush through - don't stop to kill individual zombies en route - try take out the bomber on the dock as quickly as possible, then kill the others. Push into the bottom right corner of the dock, it feels like this gives you a tiny bit of extra area before it stops if zombies are nearby (could be wrong but I started doing it and did it first time).

The meat didn't work insomuch as it still wouldn't let me put the spark plugs in, I do wonder if it does cause the game to view monsters as nearby regardless.

I think the main element of luck comes down to whether you get armoured zombies or not. If not, then it's much easier to clear out zombies running toward you. Remember to pick up ammo on the dock so you don't run out, and I'd say it took me half a dozen attempts - within the same game that is - before I got all the way to getting the spark plugs in, and it was literally just as zombies were approaching the dock that I finished and managed to jump on board.

I Used meat multiple times and it worked for me and other people. The games buggy and this run doesnt always work because the game is buggy.

For those who say you can't use the plugs while the meat is out—how do you stop the zombies from swarming you long enough to actually use the plugs? There was never a moment I was left alone and there's not enough ammo to kill the endless waves anyhow.

My 2 cents if you feel like it's never gonna work. You need the perfect run. Zombies with out any armor or only one. And then then the zombies need to take long enough to get to you. So if everything lines up you can get this. Just every thing needs to line up. This is the left lane with out meat.

I also did this on normal to figure out why this works for my self. After the initial 8 then the rest will try in get you but there should be just enough time if you have on runners on Ironman. On normal you get it first try guaranteed, because there so much slower with spawning and coming after you.

Since the solutions to challenge #3 involved too much RNG to succeed, I instead went for challenge #6. I went into this after finishing the campaign with a level 15 character (Kenji) wearing the Electric Jacket you can craft in the El Diablo islands.

In the beginning, craft the bow and precision rifle, but use only the bow on mobs - you'll want to save your rifle ammo for the end boss. Advance cautiously, taking on mobs as they appear, retreating when necessary. Always collect your arrows, and carve more out of sticks you can find. Make sure to pick up the flashlight on the way, it'll be dark before you'll reach the plane.

There are four encounters that deviate from standard distance zombie slaying:

1. A tapir will rush you after the buildings. Not too challenging if you know he'll be coming.
2. A zombie deer shortly before you reach the beach. If you played the campaign you'll know how to avoid getting hit.
3. The crabs on the beach. This will likely make or break your run. By the time you'll get here it will be dark, and will additionally have to keep an eye on night crawlers trying to rush you. There's not much to say except advance slowly and be extra vigilant, they got me twice.
4- The huge zombie boss at the end. Try to position yourself so he's barely on screen, then snipe him with the rifle. Don't forget about the mobs that trickle in.

If you take it slowly as you should, there'll be a storm during the beach sequence. But if you're wearing the Electric Jacket, lightning won't damage you.

Practice will make you perfect, and net the achievement. My winning run took about 15 minutes. In the process, you'll also unlock:
