An easy AFK method is on the first level, Mansion.
When the guy lands, hold the left stick in the direction of the edge of the map. He will walk over, fall and respawn. Use a rubber band or something to lock the stick in place and let it repeat over and over until it unlocks. You may need to reposition the camera using the right stick to get the best setup.
Mind you, even if you just manually hold the stick in place it shouldn't take long to unlock, less than 10 minutes ought to do it.

this achievement looks bugged for me, it's the last one I'm missing and the progression did stop at 74% :/
my game has been reset somehow so I wonder if I need to die 100 times all over again from the start.. rubber banding it will be

Honestly unless you're blowing off the other achievements in this game, there's no reason to farm this one.

The levels 'Mansion' or 'Train' are probably the best to boost this if you still need it after you completed all other achievements. (That is what I would recommend).
The trick to make this go quicker is to sign in a guest account. I think you are only able to sign in one.
Now keep falling off with your main and guest account. If you check your progress of the achievement, you will see 2 respawns are being added every time you do this.
It isn't that big of a time saver, but it helps :)
