As soon as the game starts you can simply walk to the edge and fall off right at the beginning of the first level. After doing so you will get this very easy achievement, which will probably be your first achievement in the game as well.

Somehow I missed this while doing MS Rewards quests and completed a level before knowing this existed

Currently I am not unlocking any achievements for this game. I’ve completed 4 levels plus some of the easy ones (like this one) and none are popping.

You can do this in any level including extra dreams. But it will help you if you pick the 1st level.
At the start of the level go of any ledge then as soon as you fall and then get respawned into the level the achievement should pop.
