Doesn’t work for me. Seems glitched still. Went through city and forest. Only achievement that unlocked was the one for destroying the statue, but it only unlocked for my friend and not for me.

It’s weird I‘ve just finished City for the first time, but none of the 4 achievements unlocked! Restarted Console to check, if anything popped, but nothing. Any ideas on what happend?

As I have stated in other threads and comments, no achievements seem to be unlocking on Human Fall Flat at all right now. They confirmed via their Twitter that they released a hotfix to address connectivity issues and now it seems no one can unlock any achievements.

People have unlocked this daily for months. I don't think anything is broken and I wouldn't expect a patch. I'm not sure why you're having a problem but clearly the achievement works.

Had my copy of the game update overnight but it doesn't appear to have fixed the glitched achievements. Met the requirements for both and nothing popped.

So yes, we indeed have another Dandara situation on our hands. Expect the achievements to be broken for longer. Who cares about QA?

Just as a note and cannot really confirm it works, but it seemed to work for me. I ran the City again to get the broken achievements and they did not pop. What I did do is then is this:
1. Close down the game
2. Start it back up and click through to title selections
3. Selected "New Game" - this will start you off from the very beginning
4. Quit out and back to title selection screen
5. Select "Extras" and then selected "City" level
6. Play through the board as normal

If it continues to not work, you will know because the "Rag Doll" and "Bowling" achievements pop as soon as the tasks are done. You don't have to wait until finishing the level to see if the achievements are done. It seems that maybe I had some cache left over (cobwebs or something) from the last 10 -20 times I ran it. Maybe the selection of "New Game" helped along the clearing of the weeds.

If this works, please just pass it on. If it doesn't, please help others out and say it did not. Cheers and good luck!

I am not sure why people are so upset about achievements being added in this game. They're never unspeakably hard, like in some games, and don't take very long. Slate aside a couple hours at best and get an extra free 240 Gamerscore under your belt and not to mention the high ratio for DLC on this game. Of course the unobtainable ones are unacceptable, that's why I'm waiting until they're fixed to start.

If there is one thing that has been apparent it is developers, publishers and even Microsoft does not give a shit. The only reason most developers fix achievements in the first place is if they know they could get a lot of bad publicity from it. It is looking more and more likely that this will become the case with this game too. We need to keep contacting them and Tweeting them.

Just remember publishers like EA are the ones who paved the way for everything shitty we have to deal with in the gaming industry. They get away with so much and screw over their clients so hard. Anyone would be an idiot to think other game developers and publishers have not clearly observed this and followed the example of EA closely. If you can constantly make a fortune by screwing everyone you do business with over, why can't others?

Nearing the end of the cert process. Another one bites the dust. As many of you lovely people have pointed out, those were indeed dev unlocks playing on an unreleased patch. As I’ve reported for months and months, the forest content drop and the patch will come hand in hand. I would also like to note that the CM for them is currently in mid-changeover so information isn’t going to be flying around everywhere for a bit. At the end of the day, it’s all about timelines and meeting specific milestones. To boot, there are many things that can hold up the process on the way. Headset audio doesn’t work anymore after you’ve resumed the game with smart-resume? You’ve just failed certification. Try again in a month. Etc etc. the list of possibilities goes on and on. Either way, it’s being fixed now, and that’s what counts.

From memory as I’m at work.

Before the elevator to the basketball dunk, the previous rooftop has you pull a cylinder to create a ramp that allows you to climb up to rotating blue platforms. It’s on the bottom level here around the perimeter.

You can reach the tunnel for the red doll from the basketball rooftop immediately following the yellow doll rooftop, no drone needed. It's an easy jump too :)

The green doll is on the tip of the spire near the pink power core. Use a drone to fly up to it and you can grab it with one of your hands.

Seems broken... wouldn’t try checkpoints either as it resets all 3 of the rag dolls and the one on the spire... is easy to grab but when you drop it... towards the floor where it’s meant to disappear it doesn’t.

Just tried throwing all 3 off the actual edge of the map as well (the void instead of the streets below) even did so in one life, also grouped all 3 together and threw them off at the same time onto the streets. Regardless the achievement is broken or has buggy requirements.

Just confirmed with a Steam user that this achievement as well as the bowling one are working normally for them. There is most likely not a work around for Xbox, it's just bugged. Devs have been contacted.

I tried throwing all three into the air vents on some roofs and that didn't seem to work even though all three disappeared.

They need to stop adding achievements to this game.

Because we just don't want to go back to these games once they're done. Not that difficult to understand. I wouldn't complain about triple A games getting DLC but when i play indie games i expect that once they're done that's that. Not coming back to it every couple of months. And when i say "have to", many people on this site will know exactly what i mean.

Yeah I also wouldn't mind if they stopped to be honest, it looks like they've released 8 TUs now To be fair at least the majority of new levels have been better than the ones in the main (base) game, but at this point it's just a chore consistently coming back to this to get the achievements. A good alternative would be if they just added content without the achievements for people who truly enjoy the game :P That's just my two cents though.

Yeah, it’s just the fact that it actually works on PS4, so they have at least one platform for comparison. It wouldn’t be exactly the same, but there should be some similarity between the achievement trigger that they could go off for a fix. I guess the team that works on the game must be smaller than i thought maybe

They’ve been responding to tweets that they are currently working on a fix for this. With the holiday, I’m sure that hampered progress. I wouldn’t worry just yet.

A achievement site where people are upset about getting achievements I don’t understand the bug is unacceptable but why do people complain about everything the devs are not making you play the game when I don’t wanna do something I don’t not a word spoken it’s truly that simple

If you go for completion, then you basically have to play anything developers add to a game. So it is bittersweet to me because sometimes I absolutely hate it and sometimes I like it. Sometimes DLC gets out of control for a game that should have died.

Having that said, I like this game and enjoy coming back to it. It is a relaxing experience for me and I enjoy playing it with my friend. However, now they are making me nervous right now and later down the road with these buggy achievements. I am certain they will get fixed but it still bothers me.

Taking it seriously is part of the fun. It's an accomplishment to know that you've completed everything possible on a game, whether you like it or not.

It's been a month now. My patience is wearing thin.

There's plenty of other games to keep you occupied, not like there's a pandemic going on or anything that may effect a patch release especially considering the country the studio is in is seeing a rapid increase in cases but you know, must have the completion right?

And making a patch for something broken isn't as easy as adding stuff in if you're not aware. Also they gave a deadline for the skins which can easily be extended, not "hey, we're adding this immediately!". Either way the studio cares about it's community and some of you guys are hyping it up to be something along the lines of Deep Silver but all it takes is not paying attention and playing other games until then.

How hard is it to have just one person play and unlock the achievements before submitting to MS in the first place. The pandemic is a weak excuse. It's worldwide, yet other companies are getting stuff done. It only requires a PC at home instead of an office. There's this thing called the internet if they need to collaborate with their colleagues.

Someone hasn't noticed the amount of unfinished or buggy games we got this year from AAA to A games alike...

Unfortunately, since the vast majority of players don't care about the achievements, almost every company puts their achievement fixes on the back burner. This of course does not make it right, though.

I really don't get why the hell devs keep adding achievements to game. They clearly don't test them properly. They have no need to add achievements to a DLC or Title Update, it's not mandatory like in the base game. Why going the extra mile to put something in your game that you don't wanna test or support? Just release your DLC to the community that cares and leave achievements out of it. Less trouvle and everyone would be happy that way, but instead we are here bothering them on twitter and unhappy with the game.

I quite like this game personally.

It should be a requirement that developers fix broken achievements within a certain time frame or they have to make them automatically unlock on game start up. Or at least test their achievements before adding them to make sure they unlock properly.

MS should have a small team that works with developers to ensure that achievements work and that in the case that some don't, that they get fixed promptly.

The fact that so many games are allowed to have broken achievements at all, many permanently, is absurd. Players having to hassle devs to fix broken achievements is ridiculous, especially considering that devs can just leave their shit broken forever with no consequence.

Tbf tho we all still have to work but from home that doesnt stop game devs from working either. They should be on top of this. Also tbf fixing bugs should be the easiest thing to do right now, they wont be expecting to make new maps so why not just fix the two achievements

Microsoft should hold on to part of the money a game makes if something is broken until it gets fixed. I bet this would make things get fixed a lot faster. Sucks that they had no reason to add achievements in this game anymore and now we are here with something broken for over a month and no sign of a fix. Why adding achievements in Title Updates in the first place if you're not testing them or supporting them?

If no one says anything they will probably think no one cares so why waste money and fix it? If they see that people actually care that the achievements are broken and are making a big deal about it then they are more likely to fix the issue. If you don't care about achievements then why are you even on trueachievements?

I would also like to add about the fact that people are complaining about this game adding more achievements. If these people hate it that more achievements are being added, simple, don’t play the DLCs, if you don’t start it and you’ve completed the game before, it will still count as a completed game. I start these DLCs because I do like to get achievements, but not only that, I quite love this game and think it’s enjoyable.

They don't even have 10 people on the dev team, I'm pretty sure they've seen the tweets already. Also it's not expensive to patch something so I don't know why people assume that. And they've already stated they'd fix it, leave it at that.

I've lost count the amount of developers who say they're working on a fix. In the end they don't because people stop reminding them. It was due to the fact people were messaging the Saints Row 4 developer on Twitter "Saintified" was patched on the Windows 10 version. If we didn't the achievement would still be unobtainable. I don't see how a polite reminder to show people actually care about the achievements getting fixed is some sort of blasphemy?

I also think there has been enough support shown by the achievement community, these 2 achievements will be patched by the time the next update releases. If not, well I hope those people who think reminding them is a bad thing on Twitter keep that same energy.

Because I find it funny how impatient people are when the dev has shown how much they love the community. It's as simple as waiting yet people are still inconsiderate. One Google search is all it takes to find out their country was only just recently hit with the virus yet that's somehow not a valid excuse because teams with resources are getting stuff in.

Oh yeah... Really hard... Games made by a single person have been fixed in less than a week, but they are working REALLY hard during the last 2 months to fix 2 broken achievements. That must be exausting!

I imagine a montage of a clock spinning it's hands round, coffee cups piling up, a dark building with just one light on at 2am and a guy clicking reject on a call from home.

Just for people who aren’t aware, they have a forest level coming soon for Xbox and have acknowledged the broken achievements. I’m sure they’ll have a fix in that update, and if not then I’ll agree your anger is warranted. Y’all are lucky their social media admin has the patience of a saint though.

Am I the only one that thinks it sucks that they are releasing new content at the same time of the fix? That's considering the fix will come in the update. I mean, fixing things should be a priority over puting new content into the game. What good is a sports pack in a car without tires?

The devs have said that when Forest, the next DLC level comes out, it will include a patch to fix the broken achieveements.

Ladies and gents. Patch is being submitted this week.

These shitty devs owe me some Game Pass Ultimate- mine literally just expired April 7 and now I have to find a way to be able to play their shit game for 5 minutes again.

I love how people complain about this game because they "HAVE" to complete it. It sucks that the achievements were made lazily ONE time, but it doesn't mean indie game "achievement hunters" if you can even call those people that, complain that the game is terrible. STOP PLAYING THE GAME AND CRYING. Let others enjoy it. Play something you enjoy.

0.01 percent of people on xbox unlocked it so hopefully it was a developer testing it before update.

They said the patch will come with the forest dlc. Think sometime end of april.

Today I checked this achievement and found out it says 0.01% of gamers unlocked this HOW?!

Happy to see there is a bug fix coming and more maps, whether they have more achievements or not, it will be great to have another map to come back to either way.

Confirmed they're fixed!!

It is fixed, if you have the level half progressed or tried unlocking these when it said 0.01% and quit, select continue. I had quit after trying them when I saw 0.01% and didn't get them before the update. The bears and bowling are now reset even if you threw them over the edge, they are back in their spot/bowling reset. It will unlock.

Just saw Vudix post on the unobtainables thread. The patch is going to certification and the achievements were unlocked by devs testing. It's close now, we will finally be able to finish this!

It's definitely broken atm as is the bowling one seeing as how they have a 0% unlock rate on the XB itself.

One thing I noted with the green one, is that if you throw it off the top of the antenna there is a large chance the green one will land on one of the lower levels of the antenna. You almost need to follow it down and keep throwing it off as it gets stuck. I did this thinking perhaps everyone got theirs stuck below and maybe it would unlock if I made sure it actually went down but nope.

My theory with the bowling one was you needed to use the same colour ball as the lights, (yellow, red, red, red) but one lane doesn't have a red ball and trying to get it there with a drone is impossible.

Yeah that guy. Or at least make sure they work if they add them. I actually have to go back and do them you see. Kind of annoying going back to the same dumbass lol random physics game for the 10th time.
