Human Fall Flat

Didn't pop for me either.

I sent snowboards down and it didn't unlock. I then made it across without jumping and falling backwards off the cliff and it popped.

Can someone explain to me why I've completed the level 3 times now, but every time I jump down the exit hole at the end, it just reverts me back to the last checkpoint? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I agree with Doktor Zeit for the most part. I had successfully done this so many times without it unlocking. I tried restarting the level, nailed it first time, and it still didn't unlock. Finally I quit the game, but I never restarted the console. I just launched the game again, used the last checkpoint that had saved for me which was across the gap. I had to turn around, jump the gap and climb the hill on my own. I used the orange boards on each leg and when I went down that time, it finally unlocked!

got mine by goin down the middle in between the ramps. good speed there just gotta miss that tree. almost made it to the turntable without jumping

Do NOT jump, unlocked on my first attempt on second try of the level.

Confirmed - do not jump and the achievement will unlock

I hope the developers see this post. This game is so stupid buggy with the achievements. I have done that stupid jump multiple times and it won't pop. I'm not jumping and have had several perfect runs down the slope with jumping. I'm sick of this stupid game. I would like to move from it, but that's not happening. Free DLC Ice level and only .99% of ppl that own this game have unlocked what should be a simple achievement. Whatever.

Edit: Closed the game and restarted at my checkpoint and it popped first try. I didn't even make it across the gap completely. I still hate this game lol

I tried a couple times and it was not unlocking the achievement; Until i closed the game, continue from the last checkpoint and doing it again WITHOUT jumping any time with the snowboards, it popped.
EDIT 1: (i did restart level a couple times)
EDIT 2: I unlocked the achievement on Win10 version. I will try it again when i play the XONE version.

Did the jump perfectly with one board on each foot, nothing.

It unlocked while I was fighting with one snowboard that was stuck to both feet at the top by the snowboard racks (was trying to take it off, so I could attach a second).

I came to the comments because mine wouldn't unlock. After I got across, I kept jumping up until I got to the side of that spinning platform and it unlocked. I didn't jump until after I made it across (not sure if that matters or not). Wondering if you need to cross some invisible line, with the two boards still on your feet, for it to pop.

any idea why not unlocking?

I love when you do it in group play and the people with mics go "I just did an achievement!"

I successfully made it across 10+ times without getting it before quiting and reloading. The next attempt back I fell short, grabbed the cliff on the way down, hung for a bit, accidently removed one of the boards but grabbed it and fell into the void with one board in my hand and one on my foot and it finally popped. The achievement is just broken plain and simple, there is no trick, just keep trying different things.

Over an hour spent with multiple successful crossings, jumping and not jumping, and still can't get it to unlock. Fuck this game.

What worked in the end for me and my friend (I hosted) was I did it first time on arriving to the area using 2 blue boards. I jumped at the bottom and hopped around and the achievement popped within 10 seconds for both of us.

My brother got this after multiple attempts. He didn't make the jump, but grabbed onto the other side under the snow layer and was hanging there for a few seconds when the achievement popped. It was also in one go through the level.

It did not work on my first success. I jumped back up the trail, and then used two of the other snowboards. I failed to make the jump far enough, but I held on the cliff and then it worked as well.

Tried multiple times and didn't unlock, checkpoint was made on the other side.

Quit the game, went back up the hill, tried again, unlocked first time.

Didn't press jump at the end.

At least on the Windows 10 version.

Consegui 22/10/2020. Depois de tentar várias vezes apertando o A conseguir sem aperta( não precisa apertar o A ). Se ter salve no outro lado é só reiniciar Checkpoint

Segagamer is correct. Didn't work for me on my first time, but I hit the "A"button to jump. I climbed back up the hill to retry, on my second attempt I just glided down the hill and let the momentum carry me over the gap and my achievement popped.

So strange. I've done this successfully 3x and it's still not popping (on console). Did it my first try on PC, but it also does seem that there are quite a few bugged achievements for the console version. :(

Coincidence or not I finally got mine to pop by taking one red and one blue snowboard, as opposed to two blue like I was trying the first 4x I did the jump.

Anyone else still having trouble getting this? I've tried everything many times over and still no achievement

I actually jumped back up the slope and got a red and a blue snowboard and landed the jump before I got the achievement.

so.. I got this achievement. had one snowboard attached to my right foot, and was jumping to get lined up with the second snowboard, so I could attach it to my left foot. ended up punting it down the hill (oops). I grabbed another board and was jumping to get lined up with the second one so I could attach it to my dudes left foot. I never did get the second one on because the achievement popped while i was trying to get the second board on! Not sure how that works cause he never had a board attached to his left foot and i was still at the top of the hill.... but I'll take it!

Same as Biguns5, if you send one down the slope and it jumps to the otherside on its own, and you have one on your foot, the achievement pops. Could be RNG, but got it first try so I'll take it.

I had none on my foot and just sent an empty one down the slope. Once it cleared the ravine, the achievement popped. It was the only one I had sent that made it over, and I hadn't yet made the jump myself. So who knows wtf triggers this.

I went down backwards with two attached. It didn't pop any of the other ways I tried.

It didnt work the first times, but then I tried and succesfully did it with a BLUE and a Red snowboards during the same descent.

Board color doesn't matter. I, and every video guide I watched, got it with two blue boards. However I didn't cleanly make the jump and was hanging on the other side's edge. Based on another video, I knew to hold with one hand and use the other to detach the boards. Then I was able climb up and it popped.

Board color does not matter, i tried going down the middle path, never worked out well. tried the path on the right over the jump, 3 tries and then it finally popped after i quit out of the game.

I got this pretty easily around the time the DLC first came out but it seems damn near unobtainable now that I've been running through the achievements on a new account. My sister and I must've pulled this off like 40 times between us and it hasn't popped at all.

Edit: I finally got it after doing it on my first try without restarting from the checkpoint. This might be why it isn't unlocking for some.

Mine popped without making it across, I went down backwards and hit the rock on the right hand side, fell down the hole and it popped lol, trial and error on this one, i did multiple successful ones before this jumping and not jumping, it could have been a delay but if it was it was in minutes rather than seconds.

Popped the first time. I did not hit the "A" button. I actually collided with my buddy on the first little slope on the right hand side, but the momentum from the section after that carried me through to the other side.

I tried by pressing ‘A’ first, then by just gliding down the hill, neither methods seem to work and I really tried this more times than I care to count, it’s probably just as buggy as the “Will It Fry” achievement.

I finally got this after succesfully making the jump then quickly going forwards (by jumping forwards repeatedly) to the wooden platform. Quickly grabbed it, then just waited a minute or two with both snowboards still on my feet, without letting go of the platform (while I wondered what to do next!) and eventually the achievement popped. This was after many failed jumps and one successful one the previous day, when it hadn't unlocked.

For the jump itself, I'd put one foot on each of the back half of two boards, and sort of tried to keep them parallel and straight(ish) and slowly jumped to the start of the slope. I was aiming down the right side of the slope through the markers.
