Edit: According to comments the game was changed and the difficulty of the mode was elevated so that's why it doesn't seem posible to reach the 200% as I did and despite the 100% being the description of the achievement itself, players have been reaching 135% and getting the achievement so that seems to be the requirement nowadays for the achievement so just a heads up.

Original Solution:
So If you are having trouble getting this achievement, make sure every modifier is turned off that is not pointed at the title of the achiev.
But about the percentage I tried exactly 100% but it didn't work. The only thing that worked was getting plus 200% I don't know why but it was the only way I could get the achievement

Hmm, got 102% and no cheevo. I havent read anything about these being glitchy. Hopefully i can pull off 200 😬

I only got the achievement once getting 162% so I'm assuming the achievement is for over 150% or close to it.

I can confirm that after starting this game on my PC this one unlocked right away (of course I got the required score on Xbox). Even though my PC is a potato there were no problems with starting this game.

Interestingly I unlocked this on my first try only getting 73%. Not sure what the reason was for that but just seems to be a bit of a buggy achievement.

Definitely bugged. Managed to get up to 148% beforehand, no cheevo. Now on 107% it popped right away. Very strange.

Here's how I got it:

1. Restart the game, it seems that other freeplay settings somehow affect your next achievement you attempt.

2. Set Mode: Area, Area Size: Small, Area Duration: Normal

3. Set Player: Player Speed: Normal, Player Size: Small, Collision: None

4. Set Arena: Arena Type: Normal, Arena Size: Small, Power ups: Off.

Tips:
- You should have a non-dark Arena mode level.
- You can get 50% on the first area if you spawn in it, 46% if you don't.
- Around 75-90 percent (might be time based), stars will come out. As much as you can at the 70% mark, try to avoid getting stuck on the edge of the circle as you can easily get trapped by the stars.

It popped for me at 100% immediately.

I did with help of almighty ESC. Pause game and unpause with esc. While paused, you can still see dot, enemies and your mouse cursor that helps planning next move. Got out of impossible situations.

On xbox, start button does same.

You can get 100%+ on the 2nd circle and it's fairly easy to do so unless the circle spawns in the centre, things get hectic on the 3rd circle but you can still attempt to get a few more % if you're short.

Delete save file and let it sync before you do this.
Had to do it twice,at least it worked.
How you got to 200% is beyond me.

Like I said it was the only thing that worked for me but it's very much a buggy achievement that everyone had their own way to achieve it so I guess that works as well.

People managed to get 200 before because the progress bar was moving about 1.5 times faster, looking at older vids people got around 75 per circle. Staying in the circle now only gets you 50 max, meaning you need 3 circles not 2

I got mine at 102%. I reset all the modifiers and then applied only the needed ones. This seems to help with all achivements related to specific setups.
