I was able to unlock this after choosing a specific campaign level (I did 026) and then dying 10 times.
It might work on custom levels and/or freeplay, YMMV, but if you want to be sure, do this on a campaign level.

I started the game in freeplay with the achievement specific challenges and it did not unlock there, fwiw.
