I got this in Rampage Mode in the bathroom. I managed to balance the baguette on one of the deodorants, and the achievement popped. I suppose since neither end of rhe baguette was touching a surface it qualifies as being airborne.

This popped for me when I did the petrol station level in story mode, after the scene where you watch it explode.

In the bathroom as a baguette, I balanced on the metal tray going over the bath (no ends touching anything) which made this achievement pop for me. Found it much easier than trying to balance on a bottle.

Alright so this unlock for me when I was doing story levels, the petrol station, after I spilled the gaz on the floor and open the switch from the electric panel waiting for it blowing up I just fell from this box right before the cutscene and boom achievement unlocked.

After you blow up the Petrol Station (last level in story mode) you will be tossed high in the air and will stay there for over 5 seconds before landing and getting the prompt to become a toast, the trophy will then unlock.
It can also randomly pop at any time while flying with the baguette or when landing on a glitched surface or when the wind blow you away in the garden or petrol station levels.
If for some (unknown) reason it didn't unlock or if you want to get it as early as possible then you have got some choices:
1- As the baguette load up the Garden level in Free Roam and don't move, just wait for about 10 seconds and the trophy will pop.
2- Load up the Bathroom level on Rampage mode and wait for about 10 seconds and the trophy will pop.
3- Outrightly glitch it by starting Garden level on Bagel Race and going right while still on the roof and then falling through the empty area below:
