How to unlock the Favored of Torm achievement in Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms - Definitive Guide
Also, when events happen, it is a good idea to focus on them, because at the end of the event you can convert all the event favor to any favor of your choice, such as Torm. These events, and to a lesser extent time gates, provide huge boosts to your favor totals.
I had no idea favor grew so exponentially, my thought was because I had the game idling for like 11 months, and only gained that 4k favor, I assumed it would take an absurd amount of time. I'm now sitting at over a trillion favor with Torm, more with Kelemvor and Helm, and am slowly better understanding what works with who I have. (Jury-rigged Gold Find party lol)
Thanks for your reply, I had been meaning to check this to see if there was a reply. But yes, I am going for full 1000. Biggest kicker for that is the 250 free play, and I've struggled with Split the Party.
I have another question though about favor. Right now, I have favor for Waukeen to be converted, and I see this:
You will receive:
x1.10t Torm's favor
x 13.9t Kelemvor's favor
x 765B (+191B) Helm's favor. What's up with the 191 in parentheses? I presume it's a bonus, but it's only for Helm.
Sorry for the stupid long post 😀😁
This trophy will come naturally and pretty early on in the game. You are going to want to build as much Torm (also known as Blessing) as possible. Again, the more you have, the higher your multiplier is. Whatever you do, DO NOT over-spend it on upgrades. Upgrades are great and you do need them, but you also need the highest multiplier you can get to speed up your Platinum run. A good tip is that if you know you are going to be away for awhile, use your potions. Before I went on vacation for two weeks, I used several potions to increase my speed, gold multiplier, damage, etc. So when I got back I had a 200% Torm increase. I only used my potions, since they are limited, for long free-play runs. Towards the end of the game, I was at around e16 Torm with almost all the Tier 1, 2, 3, and 4 upgrades.
The number of blessings you receive for an adventure directly depends on how much gold you earned in it, as well as how far you progressed. At high levels, each level you complete adds a significant percentage to the number of blessings you receive. Therefore, the most effective way to get them is to go through levels until you can go through more and start all over again and so on in a circle. Blessings are spent on upgrades and are also a gold multiplier. For this reason, you always need to maintain a balance so as not to spend a lot and not lose the multiplier after purchasing upgrades. It is better to try not to spend more on improvements than you can earn in one free game.
However, the main way to receive “basic” blessings is through events; in events, the formulas for obtaining blessings are greatly skewed upward, and the blessings themselves received for events are exchanged for basic blessings at a very favorable rate. The rate depends on the total amount of the base blessing you are going to exchange for, the more you have, the more you can get in exchange. However, the forum has an upper limit - the total number of “basic” blessings of the chosen god. The closer you are to it, the worse the exchange rate will be.
In principle, you should automatically receive this trophy somewhere around 200 adventures if you focus on adventures in the starting location, and convert all the blessings of the event into Torm.
It is also important to note that the trophy may not drop immediately after you reach the required amount, especially if you get it converted. If this happens, simply restart the game and the trophy will drop when you start the game.
