Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms

In the milestones tab, if you look under in progress, you will be able to see a tracker for the amount of gold that you have currently collected in all your adventures. The best thing to remember is that the amount of gold that your earn, as your progress, is a function of the level that you are in and the multiplier that you have. This will actually come fairly easily but it will require patients.

Here are tips that I have:

1) Free play is where you want to do this. Free play runs don't have any challenges or negative affects, which will slow you down.

2) Obviously the higher level you go the more gold you earn and the tankier the enemies. For farming gold one suggestion that I always have is go to a level that champions can comfortably one shot the enemies and you see active growth in your divine favor constantly grow (displayed in the upper left).

3) Favor is the heart of your multiplier. At any moment during a run you will be able to end a run and gain favor, which is earned as a function of how much gold you have acquired during that run. The more favor you currently have stored when the gold is collected means the more gold you will get. But favor can also be used to help buy blessing (campaign exclusive buffs) that can help you go farther and gain more gold. Its a balancing act between using favor to gain buffs but still keep a high gold buff.

4) Champions can affect how much gold you earn through their passive abilities. See which champions boost the amount of gold you earn build around them. Champions are constantly getting patched and changed so keep up to date if you want but not really necessary in my opinion at low levels.

5) Weekend buffs are active for everyone so my suggestion is to never kill a run on Friday - Sunday since those are your primary gold earning times. Kill a run and start again on Monday after all buffs are gone.

6) Potions can help but I wouldn't relay on them. I used potions to help push me to an achievement but I would have just gotten their naturally if I was a week or two more patient... but I understand the desperation. My advise: save the epics for what you think your new personal best run will be and then 1-speed up time, 2-BUD per click (make sure you have at least one familiars before you do this), 3-damage multipier, 4-Gold muliplier.

7) Time/event challenges. It may seem like a pain doing these at first cause it feels like you start over from the start... but... Any divine favor you earn from here is "converted" into your normal campaign favor which is WAY MORE then the normal amount. Now aways this is almost the only way I can go up in divine favor in my campaign because a good event can double to divine favor.
