This is the first boss of the game, after you gather the 2 laterns, they combine into one to form Turmoil.
Turmoil will spawn little blue and red fireballs, if you kill those fireballs when they are next to turmoil, it does around 6 damage to the boss vs attacking the boss directly for 1-2 damage.
the boss has around 20 health, nothing too challenging.

If you turn the "Victory Option" to ON in the options the battle menu will have an action to auto win a battle.
I can confirm using this does not void achievements as I got this one with the option on.

I can second this, I also have instant victory activated and got this achievement. To activate instant victory go to options and scroll down and select it ON. To select the instant victory in battle hover over “actions” and move all the way to the right and press victory.
