How to unlock the The Egg Hunters achievement in ilomilo plus - Definitive Guide

For this achievement you have to collect the eggs in the background of the levels while playing it coop, I used my keyboard for first player and my mouse for the second player, you may also use an Xbox controller or touchscreen if you have them. For surface players you can use the touchscreen plus the keyboard.

For controls as the fly(Player not controlling ilo/milo at the moment):
Click and drag with the mouse when the fly is the mouse player and W-A-S-D if the fly is the keyboard player.

You can pan the level when the fly is the mouse player and the keyboard is ilo or milo using the arrow keys.

Chapter 1:
Greenscape 1st in top row
In Bloom 2nd in middle row
Flowerbed 3rd in bottom row

Chapter 2:
Marine Blue 1st in middle row
Aquatic Song 3rd in top row

Chapter 3:
Scribbled World 1st in top row
Floating Cardboard Box 2nd in middle row
Sketchy Sky 3rd in top row

Chapter 4:
Nebula 1st in top row
Cradle 1st in bottom row.

Note: for Marine Blue and Scribbled World I need to pan down below the level, the rest were much easier to spot.

The mouse controls are identical to the touchscreen controls. To move the camera with the touchscreen/mouse, click and drag left/right near the top of the screen. You have to drag pretty quickly, or it'll treat the click as an ilo/milo move command instead of a camera move command.

You can use a the touchscreen can control one of the players, so I think your options are touchscreen, keyboard, mouse, and Xbox controller. You can use any two of those for multiplayer. I used a Surface with a keyboard

+1 for the locations, but -1 because there aren't any instructions for the fly ..... took me awhile to figure that one out. Click and drag with the mouse if you are the keyboard player; W-A-S-D if you are controlling the mouse

I'm doing this now and you must replay all the levels to get these. They do carry over to the xbla version so you only have to do it once if you have both games.

You dont need to complete the level For it to count so if its a harder level locate the egg and quit out and finish An easier level :) or when you are in world 4 Just select and quit

You have to update and beat a level on the XBLA version. Only thing is it synced my Win8 data to my XBLA version so now they're both at the beginning.

so, unless I get a keyboard for my surface I wont be able to get this achievement? How do you use the controller?

I plugged in a controller and used the touch controllers but yes you will need some other peripheral. Keyboard, controller, ect. If you don't own a wired controller or keyboard you could try to bluetooth keyboard through your phone / laptop / something. If there's a will, there's a way!

You should add how to actually collect an egg when the fly is in front of it: space bar for keyboard, cn_A for controller or left click for mouse.

The floating eggs will be found in local multiplayer mode in the First Campaign Book. In this mode, one player will control ilo and milo, while the other player will be a fly. To get this achievement, you will therefore need to play as two players. You can set up the controls for each before launching the mode, so this only needs one person. Once the level the egg is located on is loaded, locate the egg, take control of the second player, and move the fly over the egg shaped objects to shoot them with the controls you set up. Once you collected the egg, the level select map will show that you have collected it.
