How to unlock the Paint the world in blood achievement in Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars - Definitive Guide
For this achievement you must -
- Capture every single region on a Sandbox mode map
(Conquer all keeps objective is the easiest to manage this
achievement. Thanks to mey1r)
- Make a save just before you claim victory, sometimes if you reload and claim victory again it may pop. Also give it a few seconds on the victory screen as this helped for a few other sandbox achievements.
Note - I tried multiple attempts on campaign maps but they didn't count. Also be careful with the AI's captured territory, some colors are hard to tell if you own them depending what Clan you play as.

The achievement unlocked for me when I captured every single region on the "Kreya" map with the "Moroja" faction and the "conquer all keeps" winning condition.
I also conquered all regions in a previous Sandbox on "Warmont" with "Dracul" but it didn't unlock there even though I had all regions. If it doesn't unlock for you just try it with a different map and faction.

I did this on Warmont with Dracul. At first, the achievement did not unlock for me. So I restarted the game, load my save just before capturing the final land, then captured it, and the achievement poped for me. Hope it helps.

This is actually relatively easy, but requires a lot of patience. It takes at least a couple hours as the maps are all huge. Fortunately, you can save at almost any time. This is a big help. I kept multiple saves in case I screwed something up.
If you are wondering, KM stands for Kingdom Mode, which is strange as the mode you have to do this in is called Sandbox mode. Perhaps "kingdom mode" refers to the map view in the game as opposed to the battlefield within all of the "Lord" battles.
While I don't think it matters, I used the Moroia clan and did this on the Kreya map. I also set it to easy. With the Moroia clan, your colour is blue. So, your goal is for each province in the Kingdom Mode (Map) view to be blue.
I'm sure there are other ways you could do this, but here are some tips that I suggest you try.
Build your initial army until it is full. From your original Keep, start building outward and keep claiming adjacent provinces as necessary and "auto-resolve" battles until you get to a manor. Claim the province with the manor so you can Turn a Lord. The reason for building your army right away is so that you have a better chance with the auto resolving battles bit. Feel free to do the battles yourself, but it takes way more time and honestly if your army is better, you'll never lose. You may never even lose a member of your army. If you want to be extra careful, create a save right before an "iffy" battle.
As you earn more blood, start constructing your locations so that you can build armies of 9 Tier III "soldiers". Vary the kinds of soldiers in each army with Tanks, assassins and archers. To be able to buy Tier III soldiers you'll need to use your Legacy Points in a certain way, so plan your build accordingly.
Anyway, the reason for the manor is that you'll slowly be able to build many 9/9 Tier III armies.
Do not try to do this with one Lord...you'll fail miserably as opposing armies will keep reclaiming your provinces. Slowly keep adding armies and before you know it you'll own half the map and have 8-12 stacked armies. (Remember, you need to Turn Lords at Manors [and cash-in Lord cards at Keeps] to build new armies.)
Once you have a few stacked armies, you can start building outward and claiming provinces. Early on, skipping turns is your best bet once you own some villages and cities as you'll need them to generate blood. Also, every four turns or so the villages and cities will repopulate and you'll be able to get more blood and also you'll get a few new cards. Set the cards that will help you generate blood. Always take "Sacrifice", but "Shady Deal" and "Fortune Teller" are also helpful cards for this purpose.
Make sure you save often and particularly as you are getting close to painting the map with your colour. It unlocked for me right when it was supposed to, but if it does and you have a spare-save or two, you can reload it and hope for the best. One tip to remember for the Sandbox Mode is that sometimes it wants you to turn in your "Mission" card to claim the win. I believe you have to hit right or left on the d-pad to bring up thus option and select the card.
I honestly love this game, but the game does a horrible job at teaching you anything and there are very few resources online (including here on TA). Hopefully this solution helps anyone trying to figure out how to get this done. It's actually fairly easy, but very tedious and time consuming. You definitely need to be patient or you'll fail...even on easy.
