Don't worry about this one at the start, as your first few dozen upgrades will be precious for progression!
To unlock this achievement, simply go to any unlocked pyramid entrance with 5,000+ gold, which will be paid as a tribute to allow you entry. You will lose ALL of your gold, so as I say, don't do this too close to the start of your save file, as spending those first few thousands on the Tree of Life upgrade nodes is crucial.
