Worth noting the light puzzle can bug out if you’re playing on light difficulty (all doors already open, no locks unlock despite correct solution). Restart the game, switch to moderate difficulty and you can do it properly then switch back.

The Idol of Ra is the quest that spans the entirety of the Gizeh, Egypt chapter. Due to its length, I have broken down into 10 videos so if you are stuck on any part, you can find it easily. It starts at part 11 to fit with my full playthrough.

Part 11 introduced you to Gizeh and Nawal who will help you throughout the chapter. It highlights the main mission, to obtain the Idol of Ra before Voss


Part 12 is Sanctuary of the Guardians which has its own achievement. It will show you how to obtain the lighter, enter the Sphinx and complete the quest.


Part 13 also has its own achievement, secret of the queen mother which is one of the Stele required


Part 14 shows the location of the remaining Stele for Nawal and the location for the Nazi camp


Part 15 shows how to get into Voss' office and pursue him before escaping in a tunnel


Part 16 shows how to solve the dream Stele Clues on the Sphinx


Part 17 isn't essential to progress but it is really helpful, it shows how to obtain a Nazi Uniform which is a helpful disguise and how to earn some cash at the Knuckle Den



Part 18 can be done after solving the photos on the Sphinx, it shows the entrance to Chambers of Resonance, how to solve it and the following light puzzle.


Part 19 sees you fighting the blind giant for another pendent needed for the Idol of Ra


Part 20 shows you how to escape the sandtrap and finishes the chapter, you will get your much earned achievement here
