All but one of the chakra gates are story related and each big area has one. So you will come across them eventually normally playing the game.
The last one is beside the point of no return of the game.
So instead of leaving for the final encounter by doing your new special move walk further to the right and there will be the last chakra gate.
So really easy to find
6th one may be optional as well but you come across it during the story, not sure if you can progress the story without it. Will see if I have a save there to check but if anybody else can confirm that please post in the comments.

The 6th gate is optional too, its pointed out in the story but you don't have to hit hit B to attune it.

Alright thought you can't progress the story without attuning it, I will try to check, not sure if I still have a save around there. But have added the info to the solution, thanks for pointing it out.

After a certain part of the story, you'll learn about Chakra Gates. There are 7 in total: 6 of them are part of the story and are unmissable, but the 7th is optional. Once you unlock all of them, they will act as fast travel points, allowing you to return and collect whatever Ringsels, quests, etc, that you missed or weren't able to access before as you hadn't learned the move necessary to access certain locations at the time.
The 7th and final gate is right before the final boss. Once you open all 7, you'll be able to access the gates from any Save Bell by pressing
to "Enter Leylines". See below for specific details.
NOTE: Once you beat the final boss, the game ends, but you can reload the save made right before the boss to return and continue exploring at your leisure.

Six of the Chakra Gates (which act as fast travel points) are story related. The final one is located just before the point of no return. Go to the right side of the screen before you use Divine Wheel to blast into the sky, you'll find the final gate to unlock. The game warns you this is the end and you can choose to turn back even if you do blast off into the sky, and also you'll still have a save to reload regardless.
