How to unlock the I give up. achievement in Indivisible - Definitive Guide
Final Update
This is officially dead, 505 have dropped it with no desire to patch it.
Interestingly the Japanese publishers (Spike Chunsoft) on playstation do look to have applied the patch which fixed 2/3 of the broken trophies on that version. (S ranking all battle trophies is still unobtainable). So if 505 would compile and publish without further review / their minimal QA we can assume 2 of the achievements here would be fixed also.
30/01/21 Update
Still no news or timeline, however it continues to be tracked by the devs for a fix.
Mike505 01/30/2021
I know it doesn't help that I don't have any updates, but I don't. No timeline either. When we have an update on this, we will let you know. For what it's worth (I know, probably not a lot!), it is still a task that our PD team is actively tracking
21/11/20 Update
This is unexpected, but continued advocacy on discord had yielded a result in the end. This is from one of the community managers:
Mike50511/21/2020
I can confirm that this is being actively discussed right now between myself and the production team, and we are figuring out how to get these fixes out. It will require QA time and full submission cycles, but as of right now, it looks like the goal is to get this addressed soon.
10/10/20 Update -
505 games have now confirmed (via their community manager on discord) development on Indivisible and their association with Lab Zero / MikeZ has ceased and, as they don't have a build with the fix, they cannot release an update.
They have the fix though (just not in a compiled build) and offers from LZ / MikeZ and a former LZ Dev to compile the build for them (which only takes a few hours) if they would just put in the QA resources, however it looks like this isn't going to happen.
Almost certain these will remain unobtainable.

26/08/20 Update -
Long story cut(very) short, is that all staff heave left the developer, Lab Zero, leaving only the owner. (You can google if you want the backstory / drama).
Confirmed by former staff on the discord the workings for the patch were complete prior to this, however it had not gone to 505 games (the publisher) prior to this event and so it's not looking good for this ever being released.
07/08/20 Update -
The patch on 3rd August did not fix this (however it did fix the challenges in game, so all are now obtainable). An update from the Devs on discord - A new patch is coming and completing any challenge will recheck the status of all challenges and unlock the three achievements if you have platinum ranks. No ETA on this one but it will likely be some time as any Xbox / PS patch has to run through the publisher's QA process.
Below are my times for Platinum. I've tagged battle challenges with a (B).
Time seems to be based on whole seconds, so for most of the below you can round (often to round minutes on Battle challenges). Some of the longer platform challenges are possible to complete with more than one second to spare so there may be some headroom in a few of these times. Achieving the required time exactly (e.g. 13.00 seconds) has been confirmed to unlock the platinum rank.
Tips
A general tip for platform challenges if you are struggling is to focus on your button press timing. You can hang for fractions of a second on a wall jump or axe hang, spear vault etc. and they add up over time. I struggled with a few, even with the videos, until consciously focusing on quick button presses and it shaved a lot of time off my runs instantly.
For the battle challenges:
• You are going to have to get comfortable with perfect blocks, many attacks are one hit kills and it's usually impossible to even block all damage with a perfect block so you'll be left at 1 HP soon enough. (You can't die from a perfect block, even if it would usually deal damage). It's useful to not attack the first few attempts and just try and learn the enemy moves and get the timing down.
• Remember that will a full Iddhi bar Ajna can revive your whole party, even if she is down. If you use all your Iddhi for this you will go over time in most challenges, you need to use it mostly for dealing damage, but you should be able top use if a couple of times if you mess up a block. (Some battles have minutes of leeway to allow for this).
• Make sure you attack all at once (press all 4 buttons). If you attack one at a time you will take far longer. This usually means you need to all perform a regular, up or down attack. This can useful on some battles where you need to hit the enemy into the air first or build up a combo and characters have better attacks for each depending on your party make up.
• The only exception to this are guard breaks or when you need to juggle and enemy to do damage. Attack first with the character to to this, then everyone else at once.
• In most battles it's best to focus on combo rather than damage as the Iddhi attacks are needed to do enough damage to beat the time.
