How to unlock the Indr's Student achievement in Indivisible - Definitive Guide

Clean blocks are done by pressing a characters attack button just before an enemy lands a hit on that character.
This will make the character take a lot less damage and also stop the enemies attack if it for exmaple would roll through all characters if not blocked correctly.
Also it will recover a small amount of Iddhi.

This will be explaind and trained in a small fighting tutorial very early in the game.

You can do this at the beginning of the game with your father Indr, if not sooner. Head west to the end when you're at the village and you will have a small battle with your father. Simply block his attack and time it right to get a clean block, you should hear an odd sound to confirm you've performed a clean block and of course this achievement will pop.

A Clean Block is using the Block option(s) at the exact moment the attack would hit your character. You are given a tutorial on blocking with Indr using Ajna. While you can simply defend by pressing the appropriate buttons before the attack goes through, a Clean Block will give you a more encouraging sound and you'll see the damage numbers in blue. Some attacks later on even require you to perform a Clean Block to actually block.

Story-related and cannot be missed.

In the prologue, the very first combat-related skill you learn is how to perform a Clean Block. (See trophy_gold.png Indr's Pride for more information on clean blocks.)

After you leave your house, proceed to the left until the very end and you will find yourself in a clearing that is quite obviously a training area. The father will appear and, after a short dialogue, your training begins and you will have multiple chances to perform the Clean Block.
