If you are going for this I would suggest starting with sinead to make sure you can beat it. By far the hardest with almost zero margin for error. The trick is to let off the throttle far more than you might be used to. Bautista is hard too but more of just a steep learning curve. If you can beat those 2 you're home free

I still have 4 cars locked even though I have done all the stories and the challenges, are they dlc or am i missing something? EDIT: After some research they appear to be DLC cars and I can confirm they aren't required.

Sinead = Velox Impuls
Bautista = Venom Ind. Raptor

Also, there's 4 cars from the DLC twilight rivals that are not required for the achievement ;

Damn I can't even beat the story with Ibba & I think that's just a class B car (HPE Dragon) & there's a guy who 100% this under 8 hrs WTF lol this is a lot harder then the 1st class C car - I don't even wanna try class A yet :-) Good luck to all who don't do the HULK SMASH on their controllers - Lord knows I already have and I haven't even tried this mode :-)

The trick with some of the cars is that you either use the drift stick (RS), brake to drift (LT) or a combination of both, and sometimes you have to let go of the gas to make your drift. Each car handles slightly different but even with all that considered they balanced these grand prix in a strange way. Definitely make sure to drift as narrow as possible, maintaining your speed for even an extra second can be the difference between success and failure.

I've completed the story mode but sineads car isn't unlocked. Does that mean she isn't part of this achievement?

I just beat the grand prix for Sinead and the best tip I can give is that you don't need to drift as much as you think you do. A lot of times you can turn the corners just by using both of the sticks. This is especially pivotal for the 4th race against Bautista. You can get so much speed ahead of him when he drifts the tunnel corners.

The fact that you only get 3 retries for each cars grand prix is insane. I'm 3/5 of the way done with vivs story and that's repeating each time Attack 30-60 times before I barely get gold. How tf am I supposed to do perfect runs in each grand prix 😂

Still haven’t gotten this but wanted to give some people a tip for the Impuls levels. DON’T QUIT IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE HAVING A BAD RUN. The endurance levels and time attack are designed so that you BARELY make the goal with seconds to spare. Keep trying, keep practicing, never back down never what?

I'm sure some people will benefit from this advice, I personally found it to not really be helpful.

On my first attempt I found that handling the car wasn't an issue but more that I was unfamiliar with the track variations. Because of that, I went and did all the C class cars. After that, I had an understanding of the track layouts and got it on my second attempt. Meanwhile I still struggle with handling some B class cars (I still haven't even beat the challenge for Bautista to unlock it).

It'd be nice to maybe add a brief little summary of handling strat for each car.

In order to unlock all cars in the first place, you need to complete certain tasks.

The only cars you are required to use to complete this achievement are below, some extra cars are in the game due to DLC but are NOT required.

Grand Prix

You get a maximum of three tries per grand prix, with 5 events required to be finished in order.

If you fail a retry on event 1 or 2, I would recommend just quitting out of the grand prix and back in so you have maximum retries.

You will really be best off trying this once you have completed the main story, the more you plan and learn the tracks the easier this will be, because learning each of the cars handling from B class upwards can become difficult itself.

I managed this by playing for an hour or so a day over a couple weeks, literally took me 18 hours from never playing to managing this, it is not easy and sometimes you will feel the AI is unforgiving.

If you really cannot handle a car, load up the practice mode with the car you are trying and learn how it drifts and get confident you can get it do what you need, you will just start to click with it.
