I was having trouble with Time Attack events in this Story and i found this video. Its a speedrun but regarding the Time Attacks it does help a lot on where to brake and to turn.

I've watched the video but still cannot beat the 2:03 on snow mountain. It's very difficult.

it's a lot especially the first turns before the tunel. what i did was trying to get in the first tunel before 30sec or in 30 sec then reach the castle in 55/56 sec and at the end before you start going donw the hill try get there in 1:13/1:15 and becareful with the last turn its a bit skechy. Try to go straight as much as possible and pay atention where he starts to turn in the video.

The main advice you need is practice.
You will need to just keep attempting it until you learn the track and the car. You can use practice mode and practice the track you are struggling on but ideally you just will need to keep attempting each one until you manage it.
It is much faster to straighten up as soon as possible, again when you learned the track you will know what corners require a full drift and others may only require a slight turn of both sticks.
