This can be achieved once you enter the temple. You'll fight some familiar faces and towards the end you will find Maria and her Tiger Mech. The mech will be hovering in the air for a bit. After a few volleys, will be on the ground. Strike its feet with your guitar by holding x. I believe it took me 4 hits and the achievement popped right away.

If you have beaten the game, easiest way if you miss any of these you can replay chapter 5 or 12. 5 for ch 2-4 bosses, 12 for ch 5-11 bosses. Ch 1 boss is not here, start ch 2 and fly back to the first island. Of course if you haven't beaten the game you can just go back to the boss area and beat it again, but that's sometimes a pain to traverse the map again.

Anyone else's game crashing when you get done with this fight?

My game isn't crashing, but as soon as I initiate the first temple battle with Lupe, the characters portraits are all white and once Lupe chooses someone to attack, it just freezes there. All I can do is pause and unpause the game... I've tried reloading a previous save, but it has happened everytime the first battle starts, so can't even progress anymore atm

*Quick edit: I was able to get past the freezing by uninstalling and reinstalling the game to be able to progress to the Tiger Mech battle, but I am now currently experiencing the crashing after the battle that Zlockwork was referring to.
