This can be done on chapter 9. Once you reach the room of this boss, its fairly easy to get the hits as he just stands there waiting to be hit. He does have a lot of attacks. Four hits and the achievement is yours!

All similar achievements are in the pre battle stage, using only the "continuous hold down X" method to attack the enemy, and entering the battle after several consecutive attacks. If successful, unlock achievements immediately after entering the battle

If you have beaten the game, easiest way if you miss any of these you can replay chapter 5 or 12. 5 for ch 2-4 bosses, 12 for ch 5-11 bosses. Ch 1 boss is not here, start ch 2 and fly back to the first island. Of course if you haven't beaten the game you can just go back to the boss area and beat it again, but that's sometimes a pain to traverse the map again.
