Once you reach the boss stage in chapter 11, hit the large sphere on the ground 3 times with your guitar. The sphere will flash 3 times before sending out a shock wave. The mech will also send out missiles to attack.

If you have beaten the game, easiest way if you miss any of these you can replay chapter 5 or 12. 5 for ch 2-4 bosses, 12 for ch 5-11 bosses. Ch 1 boss is not here, start ch 2 and fly back to the first island. Of course if you haven't beaten the game you can just go back to the boss area and beat it again, but that's sometimes a pain to traverse the map again.

All similar achievements are in the pre battle stage, using only the "continuous hold down X" method to attack the enemy, and entering the battle after several consecutive attacks. If successful, unlock achievements immediately after entering the battle
