This achievement is obtained after defeating Held, then Vermified Held, at the top of Dias.
The normal Held is not hard at all, whenever you see a black orb appear make sure you destroy them before you attack Held, as the orbs create powerful attacks for Held, if you take these out as they appear you will have no problem at all. Also kill him within 2 minutes to get a situation bonus.
Vermified Held is where the challenge comes in: Capell cannot hurt him at all. What you must do is play the Percipere tune on your flute to make him visible to everyone else you do not need to play the whole time, but when he turns to pure black you must go near him and play it again.
Just like before DO NOT leave the black orbs alive if you can, as Capell take out any orbs and let your allies attack Held, and remember to occasionally go near him and play the Percipere tune again.
After enough damage Held will kneel down and you can now attack the chain. You must do this 3-4 times (depending if you damage the chain enough each time). After the final time Held will die and the chain will smash in one hit.

You will unlock this achievement once you defeat Held, then Vermified Held, and then cut the Amber chain on top of Dais.
Note: This achievement is storyline and cannot be missed.
