Infinite Undiscovery

For this achievement you must defeat Niedzielan at the Zalan Coast after arriving in Port Zala. Stock up on healing items and new equipment and be ready for the hardest fight yet.

During this battle you can also achieve the "Tide of Battle" achievement by not getting hit by any tidal waves during the fight.

Nied attacks are pretty much all water based. They can be annoying as they can knock you down or freeze you for a short time and also deal decent damage, it also doesn't help that he is accompanied by several regular enemies.

To start take out any surrounding enemies first so they can't interrupt your attack on Nied, after hurting him enough he will kneel over, this is your chance to attack the chain, after attacking it for a while, the chain will put up a barrier and you will have to attack Nied again until he kneels over again to be able to hurt the chain again. You must do that 3 times, (in regards that you hurt the chain enough so it may take more than three times.) After the final time Nied will die rather than kneel over and the chain will only take one hit to end the battle.

Note: During the fight tidal waves will periodically slam upon the shore, your teammates will warn you about 10 seconds before one hits and also your controller will start to rumble and the tide will recede. If you do not hide behind the rocks you will sustain damage from these waves, also when the waves comes any regular enemies that you killed will respawn.

If you are having trouble with this fight you can enchant your team with fire attack or water resist or defense/ attack up.
