How to unlock the Groundbreaking achievement in Infinite Undiscovery - Definitive Guide

For this achievement, you need to get a 30-hit ground combo.

Like JohnnyC3PO's solution, this is easier when you have 2 parties, but it can be done with only one. Get an enemy with a lot of HP that can't be hit into the air. Now alternate between Dancing Rhapsody and Cutting Gavotte. If you do this fast enough, there won't be enough time between the attacks for the combo to end, and you can get it.

It's easiest to do this when you have 2 parties fighting together - I got this in the Oradian Mountains.

Try fighting something with a large amount of HP - like a fire ogre or a jewel chest so they don't die mid combo.

Both the other solutions work but thought I would throw in how I got it done with 1 party of Capell, Edward,Michelle and Komishi (ninja lass), first equip your lowest rated weapons for the whole party, then put your party command to Save MP.

I did this against an Iron Mimic in the spiders nest in the main story on normal, there are three really easy to get too with the first in the passgae to the left of the entrance and save point so you can keep re-loading from there if you wish.

Approach the mimic with the weapons drawn, he will spring up to attack with bubbles, wait for that to stop and then jump in with A,A,A,B dancing rhapsody and keep spaming this your team mates will join in and attack the chest too allowing you to keep the combo going. Just make sure that there are no enimies around when you do it otherwise your team wanders off to attack them and the combo breaks, dont switch to party comand combo either as it just ended up for me with Michelle casting astro and wiping him out

Send us a mesage if you need any help and thanks for Mooggless for his help and advice

Honestly, this achievement could be classified as story-related. If you don't get it by means of the earlier solutions, you will almost indefinitely get this while fighting Held, or later, Saranda.

Initially, you all gang up on the enemy until they are downed, at which point Capell has to go after the Chain. My teammates were hitting Held so fast, that I got a 40 combo in a matter of seconds, without even trying. While they're fighting the downed Held or Saranda, just keep spamming Cutting Gavotes into the Chain, and you should have this in no time. During the fight with Saranda, my combo meter reached 99 doing the same thing.

If you don't dedicate any time to getting this achievement outside of these fights, that should be no problem at all, because you should get them here if nowhere else. For the record, I probably had Aya, Eugene and Edward in my party, though it probably doesn't matter. I believe you fight Saranda with two parties, so that makes it even easier.

For this achievement you must perform a 30-hit ground combo. I did this whilst fighting the boss Semberas at Sapran village. As with the “Aerial Acrobat” achievement, I used Capell’s “Cutting Gavotte” skill, with my party set to “Combo”.

For this fight you will have the four characters you picked, as well as Sigmund, kill all the enemy soldiers and then focus everyone on Semberas, you shouldn't have much trouble getting this here.

Another place to easily get this achievement is on top of the Vesplume Tower, after you defeat Dimitri, you will fight Leonid. I was able to get the hits up to 60 during this fight.
