Cat Fight

Cat Fight

Catwoman must defeat Cheetah with the final hit coming from Cat Call

0.1%

How to unlock the Cat Fight achievement in Injustice 2 - Definitive Guide

For this achievement you need to defeat Cheetah with Catwoman with the final hit coming from Catwoman’s “Cat Call” ability. Although that sounds simple enough, the “Cat Call” ability needed is dropped from Mother Boxes. Character abilities are some of the rarest drops in the game, so there is a great deal of luck involved with this Achievement and it will likely be one of the last Achievement’s you have left to earn in the game.

My advice for anyone looking to tackle this Achievement would be;
1. Get all of your Characters to Lvl 20. Higher levelled Characters earn more valuable loot. Which you can then sell for coins which you can then use to buy more Mother Boxes.

2. Complete the Character Tutorials. Each time you complete a Character Tutorial you’ll earn yourself a Silver Mother Box. They should only take around 5-10 minutes to complete depending on skill. Upon completing them all, you’ll earn a Diamond Mother Box.

3. Downloading and linking your game to the Injustice 2 Mobile game also awards you a Diamond Mother Box.

Edit* I just want to warn people to be really careful using the Method of disconnecting from the Internet to spend your coins. Resync’ing to the Cloud has the potential to cause a game breaking coin bug where you’ll have trillions of coins, but you won’t be able to spend them or earn anymore. It’s a known bug. It happened to me and the only way I was able to fix it was to contact WB Customer Support via phone and subsequent emails and they were able to sort it (it took them 3 days). Just make sure that when you do disconnect from the Internet, do NOT reconnect until you’ve closed the game.

UPDATE

* As of the 06/06/2017 update Bronze Boxes now cost 5000 Credits and Silver Boxes now cost 10,000 Credits. Character Abilities now class as Epic gear which means it's best for farm Gold Mother Boxes.

* As of the 30/06/2017 update The Multiverse Farming method no longer works.

@Bastiaen Unfortunately with the Achievement rarity being so low all we have to go on is internet hearsay, I've leveled my Catwoman to Lvl. 20 and can confirm that you don't get the ability then.

@Iz NIGHTMARE zI You can get Abilities in the Bronze Motherboxes, I can't honestly say if all of the Abilities can turn up in those boxes or just a select few but some do appear.

I've unlocked abilities for 3 other characters so far in mother boxes so there's a strong likelihood that her move could be one of the random moves unlocked in a mother box. I've opened 70 boxes so far and have unlocked just those 3 abilities so they definitely have a low rate of unlocking.

I obtained her second ability called Chaotic Cat by opening only bronze chests. The ratio of abilities wasn't that bad on my first try I got a total of 8 abilities after 160 boxes. However, on my second try I only had one so it's definitely random.

I got cat call on box 36! According to my open 100 boxes achievement being 36% done anyway.

I'm off to play the lotto too.

Or maybe they lowered the rarity.

Once unlocked it's a simple forward, down, back , A move. Doesn't do very much damage...just a kitten coming in and attacking her face.

My coins are glitched at 18,446,744,073,709,507,764... when I purchase motherboxes it says that I have 0 coin. To fix the problem I attempted to open some bronze, silver and gold boxes but I don't get coins from them. facepalm

@Ink Splitter I have the exact same problem. My coins have glitched out too, I can't even earn Mother Boxes in the Mutliverse at the moment. My game has full-on FUBAR'd. Some say that completing a Multiverse event that rewards coins can fix the issue, but it hasn't worked for me. Need to wait for a patch I think.

By Rapture639 on 26 May 2017 08:38
@Rapture639 It's a known bug. Disconnecting from the Internet to spend your coins and then reconnecting can cause a game breaking coin glitch where it'll tell you that you've trillions of coins, but you won't be able to earn any more or spend them. It also stopped me earning Mother Boxes from The Multiverse. I finally got it fixed after a phone call to WB Customer Support and 3 subsequent emails ><

@iTz SiNZ v2 I fixed that issue by opening approximately 20 gold chests (in a row) earned in AI Simulator. I checked online and someone said that he had 'un-gliched' his game by doing a coin reward match in multiverse. It's random because this method didn't work on my profile, it's worth a try for anyone else having this annoying bug though. smile

The silver lining I thiiiiiink is that you probably can't pop character abilities more than once like you can with loot. If that's the case, Cat Call has to drop eventually regardless of RNG.

By T Dawg182 on 28 May 2017 14:49
Indeed you got extremely lucky. :O By looking at my stats, I've opened 1,140 bronze, 47 silver and 96 gold boxes plus I used the offline method with approximately 236,000 coins at least 20 times. On my profile, Catwoman is level 7 and 90% of the other characters are between the level 10 to 20. All abilities unlocked through the offline method have been varying a lot, sometime I get 3 abilities in a row for a total of 8 abilities, sometime I only got 2.. In conclusion I confirm that the character level doesn't influence the odd of getting one character ability (unlike gears).

By That Guy086 on 29 May 2017 18:42
Having unlocked Cat Call and taken various notes along the way, I simply believe that Cat Call and other abilities that requires 2 slots when equipped have a lower drop rate than those that only require 1 slot to equip.

My Stats:
Bronze Opened Offline: 7,900
Bronze Opened Online: 13,000
Most from 500 Bronze Opened: 19 Abilities
Worst Bronze Opening Streak without getting an Ability: 652 (500 + 152)
Recommended Method: All characters level 20. Online, 500 at a time. Sell Rare & Common gear after. Rinse. Repeat. Achieve.

Don't give in and let Ed Boon win! :P

3000 boxes in, still no ability. For me it's less of a hassle to just sell all of the gear. You get like 120% profit for selling everything you get, so theres no loss.

I read somewhere that each characters pool of abilities doesn't effect the other, and the best way to increase your odds of Cat Call are to get her shaders first.
0
0
By Fooga on 03 Jun 2017 22:30
I had all of her shaders beforehand, so that definitely didn't help. I stopped tracking drop rates around 15K boxes, but prior to that you could clearly see the average number of boxes between abilities steadily increasing. If they intended to have a consistent drop rate regardless of how many remained in the pool, their algorithm is definitely broken. Yesterday I had a streak of 2500 without any abilities whereas I had 51 abilities drop in my first 2500 boxes when I started a week ago.

I'd say the best way would be the save method then, but someone on PlayStation trophies claimed they opened over 17k boxes doing that and it never showed up either.

Hopefully this is patched soon. They're just too rare.

So really, it seems like just collecting as many credits as possible and going exclusively after the Gold boxes, will be the way to do this.

Here's to collecting millions of credits now ...

^You need to be relatively fast. As soon as you get the ability reward and press A to continue, quickly press the Home button and proceed with Settings > Network Settings > Go Offline and then complete the rest of the steps. I had to pay 150k again after doing it the first time, probably because I didn't go offline fast enough.

Also make sure you actually delete your saved game, sometimes you have to delete it twice before it disappears

Good luck:)

I finally managed to make it work after my third attempt. I have been doing it 4 time in a row without problem.

1. go to multiverse, pay the 150k fees, fight the enemy and at the end press A rapidly to get your rewards.
2. Immediately go offline, quit Injustice 2 and delete the saves
extra steps: launch injustice 2 while being offline then quit after 2-3 seconds.
3. Go back online, launch the game normally and wait for the game to sync your save.
4. go check if you have obtained an extra platinum motherboxe then go back to multiverse.
5. rinse and repeat :)

Hope this will help you. Ps: I had to do 42 multiverse fights before getting Cat Call (173 out of 179 abilities)

can this achievement be obtainable WITHOUT any tricks, meaning getting the Cat Call ability regularly - by completing 100 multiverse events, and unlocked it after that, or is it really so RNG item, independent on whatever u did or played 1 million matches, leveled up all characters to level 20 etc. ? Damn, getting tired of opening so many Mother boxes already...

I played last night and I didn't see any multiverse events that had the abilities as a reward. So I just worked on leveling up one of my characters to level 20. I have only leveled 8 characters to level 20 so I am in no rush. I am hoping once I get the 100 multiverse achievement and all characters to level 20 that all these credits I have saved from selling common and rare items I will get it in a gold box.

Finally got Cat Call few days ago. My strategy was explicitly getting the ability from earned mother boxes as a rewards as completing multiple Multiverse events. I completed aproximately 70-80 different multiverse events (all of them played with my AI lodout 1 characters). Finally the ability showed up in one of the Diamond boxes. I have to tell that I haven't bought any Gold or Silver mother boxes with the coins, just strictly playing Multiverse events and randomly unlocked it. Maybe it's just coincidence...

I am doing the multiverse events that have epic gear as rewards for certain characters. If you do all the requirements you normally get credits and 2 platinum boxes. Last night opening a gold and a platinum I was able to get 4 abilities. I normally get some abilities every day I play as long as I earn some gold or platinum boxes. Since I normally only level the characters to level 20 if they have their own tower that makes it fun for me. It will happen eventually. These abilities like I said are dropping more frequently. Plus, I get like 2-4 sometimes every other day.

@FlashedBubble I ment Platinum boxes, not Diamond - sorry for my mistake. As a reward for 150.000 coins multiverse event at the end. It apperead for me in Platinum box.
Yesterday I got 1 Ability for Supergirl in Silver box, so it's really random thing.

As with @NabaDwA I also tried the 150,000 credit multiverse boss exploit. There was actually two different 150,000 fights at the same time. I went exactly by this comment, doing everything correct but when I synced the save with the cloud after doing it for the first time, it said I had already completed and could not access it again. I also tried buying the mission, then going offline before doing the multiverse but same thing. If it ever comes up again, I am going to try buying the multiverse then quitting the game down, then re-launching it offline to do the multiverse.

Got this achievement about a week ago thanks to there almost always being a multiverse event with a random ability reward. Took 287 hours of playtime which is rediculous but it was one of the final abilities I had left to unlock. I'd suggest as stated above to delete any dlc characters including darkseid so there abilities are not taking away the chances of unlocking this one.

Ughhh I have every ability in the game except for 46 (including Cat Call of course). I've been working on getting all characters to level 20 and only have three to go. No idea what I'll do once they are all level 20. Saving credits for the ability verses is the way to go since I haven't seen an ability in a motherbox in about 20-25 Diamonds/Platinums

With 2 abilities left I finally got the stupid move. It took some digging to find how to do the move since all the guides are about expoiting loot boxes and not how to do the achievement once you have the move. It's Forward-Down-Back-A from far away and only does 5% damage.

It's RNG achievement, but it's not. Developers made it to receive this ability after you have over 90% of abilities. And they remove abilities from diamond mother boxes. I opened 42 diamond boxes in a row - nothing. They put multiverse event with random ability, cause people don't want to buy this game, cause they read stupid bullshit about this achievement. And I'm 100% sure that in TA is spy developer from Injustice game, cause when someone find solution for something they patched for no time. LOSERS! I don't like the game like i was in the begining.

I haven't seen much Epic gear in gold boxes at all, lately... Maybe 1 epic gear piece per 50 gold boxes opened,as a rough estimate. It's all been rare/common only. I don't waste credits on gold boxes anymore. I only use them for ability events (not even platinum/diamond box events since there's less guarantee). I did happen to get an ability from a bronze box last week to my surprise. I've picked up roughly 15 abilities from 30-40 platinum/diamond boxes in the past few weeks.

The Mother box loot looks to be pre-determined now after 10 runs at buying the same 50 gold boxes all the gear and abilities earned came out the same the only difference was the Hero card backgrounds they all appeared in the same position however each run provided a different set.

Got it from a random ability event last night!

With all DLC characters installed, over 106 hours of playtime, over 14 million credits collected, and opening...

1,270 bronze MB
806 silver MB
821 gold MB
187 platinum MB
137 diamond MB

I suppose those stats are still better than some others I've seen, but it certainly felt like a LOT more. My point is - even after all of those MB I got it from a random ability event.

Not sure if a coincidence or not, but after leveling up Catwoman to lvl30 and giving her the "What I want" augument (the one that increases drop rates for the character you are using) Cat Call appeared on the third event that dropped an ability (used Catwoman each time).

Could just be a coincidence, but might be worth testing.

So what boxes have abilities in them? What should I spend my credits on to maximise my chances of getting this? Playing a Multiverse costs a lot, like 150k so I couldnt enter too many of them before running dry of credits. What's the current fastest method of working towards this?

YalrishMick96 In my experience; abilities seem to only be in gold, platinum, and diamond mother boxes. But there doesn't appear to be a higher likelihood in the diamond than the gold. Basically it looks to be totally random between those three

Yeah I've been grinding away at this achievement and there is no rhyme or reason to getting abilities from lootboxes. I have gotten 2 abilities from bronze boxes....yes bronze ones. I was shocked. The best method by far is doing random ability towers and chipping away until you HAVE to get the Cat Call ability because you've got all the others. That and using Catwoman for every ability tower you do because you may eventually unlock her legendary multiverse and then you're gauranteed to get it (although that takes over 60 hours of playtime as Catwoman - so just pray you get it long before that)

By YaIrishMick96 on 05 Apr 2020 13:46
I eventually got it in a random ability tower with 45 abilities out of like 250 plus left. I knew it would be one of the last ones I'd get. Such a grindy achievement, I opened 2,010 mother boxes and for over 2 months been checking in on random ability towers. So done with this game lol

Newer tip: Get your Catwoman to Level 30 and put the increased Gear bias augment on her. Now focus on beating multiverses that give you a random ability. Doing this I got this on the second ability multiverse I beat.

After MANY months of doing random ability towers and using the biased gear augment for Catwoman, I finally got it with only 4 other base game abilities remaining. This means of 121 abilities you can earn randomly, I unlocked 117 out of 121. It was the most unlucky thing I have ever had happen to me on any Xbox game I've ever played.

@SoulyDconte If I remember correctly, it should be towards the bottom middle (4th from the left I believe), and the reward should be RANDOM ABILITY. It should be one boss fight. It also goes on a four hour rotation. If it does not say RANDOM ABILITY, then check back later until it eventually is. It's completely random how many times it'll be RANDOM ABILITY, on average it was 1 or 2 times for me. It also costs 150,000 coins, or rarely it will cost 100,000

One thing that helped me was ranking Catwoman to level 30 & unlocking the "augment" ability. That's the gold box, the 3rd ability. You have a list to choose from, get "What I Want" that enables you to make sure anything you win is for Catwoman, doing this in conjunction with the 150k 4th world had me unlock 2 of Catwoman's special abilities.

By WillB636 on 11 Feb 2023 18:52
I am not sure how to determine how much help the augment is. However, if applying "What I Want" to Catwoman, the inverse augment ("No Thank You") should be applied to as many other characters as possible.

I'm starting to think that this is not as Random as it appears, I'll try to explain why;

The other night when I was opening Bronze & Silver boxes, I noticed that I was getting a lot of Gear for my lowest level characters, i.e Aquaman, Blue Beetle and Black Canary. So I leveled those characters to 20 over the past few days and now that they're Lvl 20 I'm getting a lot more gear for my low Level Poison Ivy, The Joker and Harley Quinn. This could all be coincidental, but I'm starting to wonder if the drops from Bronze & Silver crates have a higher % chance of dropping gear for your lowest level characters and it would explain why I don't get many drops for my Lvl 20 Catwoman. shock

Just got the achievement, I did NOT have to reset my internet connection or anything to get more credits like the other solution says. I have all characters level 20 and so all gear sells for more credits because of that so selling Gear make back like 80% or more of the credits I spent on motherboxes AND I wasn't even selling every Epic, I was keeping quite a lot. SiNZ my video will be finished within the next 2-3 days. I'll message you when it's done so you can use it

I finally go t this today and have come to two conclusions: 1.Its entirely luck based 2. I'm the unluckiest man alive.

I finally got it after 25,300 boxes, all online. I leveled everyone to 20, opened Bronze boxes, sold everything other than non-duplicate epics, and then repeated. Most of the time you will make money off the proceeds and continue buying and selling boxes indefinitely until you get it. By the time I got Cat Call i had all but 5 abilities and 1 shader. From what I can tell, as the pool of remaining abilities gets smaller, the drop rate drops accordingly. At the end, I was getting abilities maybe every 1000-1500 boxes, although sometimes I'd get lucky and get a couple back to back. If anyone ends up opening more boxes than me and still doesn't get Cat Call, let me know...I'll be relieved to know the curse has passed on to somebody else.

If you are having problems with it keep asking you to pay you need to do the following. Pay for the event and then back out of the character selection screen. Go sell some items or something so that the game remembers that the event is available. Then go do the event and go offline etc.

@FlashedBubble Every time that I've seen the events in the Multiverse they are normally in the middle of the Multiverse slightly too the right. You can check if it's the right event because the rewards for completing the Objectives will be 1x Diamond Mother Box and Random Character Ability, those are the events you're looking for and yeah, they are tough. They're basically boss battles. If you're finding it too difficult, I recommend waiting for the Swamp Thing event.

@Richjn11 I've not seen that happen to me, so I can't comment on it :( It might be worth contacting WB Support and asking them to have a look, those guys had to sort out my coin glitch when that broke.

On the character selection screen, instead of hitting cn_A to select your character, hit cn_X. This brings up the custom sets with the last 2 of them being A.I. sets. Select one of the A.I. sets and the A.I. will do the fight for you. You can customize the A.I. sets in the same customization menu as the other sets. A level 20 A.I. character with good gear will frequently beat a difficult A.I. opponent.

Finally got this damn ability today with the multiverse strategy. I already had all characters at level 20. Still took me 6-7 hours today of doing it over and over again. I only had 11 abilities still left to unlock when I finally got it. Thumbs up from me with it being the best and quickest method out there. It still takes some luck too as to how long it will take a person. Unfortunately for me it took me till I had more than 90% of the abilities unlocked. I would like to add one thing to the guide. I recommend not having any DLC characters installed because that'll add to the pool of gear and abilities that are possible to unlock and may make things take longer potentially. I had Darkseid installed but uninstalled him because that's 5 abilities that I could potentially unlock before the Cat Call.

I FINALLY got this yesterday after 2,309 box openings. My advice --
- There is almost always a Multiverse that gives a random ability. Be sure to play this multiverse each time it appears. Recently, it is appearing every 4 hours.
- Focus on Platinum & Diamond loot boxes. I unlocked Cat Call via a Diamond loot box. The ability drop rate (for me) was much higher in these versus gold.

Is it worth adding into this guide that if you focus on doing all the Legendary Cat Woman Multiverse events. The last event in that universe nets you a random ability and you can complete it multiple times providing you have the guild currency to do so. (It costs 50,000 guild credits for each attempt.)

It's how I got this achievement. Cat Woman has 6 abilities, 2 are gifted to you for reaching level 20 and the other 4 you have to collect. I had 4 in total when I completed this Legendary Event. It was a 50% chance to get the Cat Call and I got it. I checked the event afterwards and realized I could pay another 50,000 guild credits to play this event again to get her last ability.

Note this will take awhile to do as you need to accumulate 50 hours of play times as Cat Woman.

The 150k tower does not show the ability as reward, because it a reward for completing the portal's objective. There is only one objective, it is to finish the tower. Hope this helps anyone having issues spotting where the random ability reward can be found.

Updated with more detail: Usually, at least once a day, a metaverse portal will have only a single (boss) fight, with the one of the rewards for completing the metaverse portal, being a random ability. The event usually requires 150k to enter, but check them all. There is a 100k tower, usually the fourth metaverse portal position, which awards random abilities, as well. When a portal is highlighted, a description of the portal appears in the upper left-hand corner. The last line of text details what completing the portal will reward. Look for "UNLOCK A RANDOM ABILITY."

Of the six cycling portals, the left three all cycle in multiples of 24 hours (daily cycle starts/ends at 0900EST.) The event is on one of the right three portals. (Actually, the battle simulator portal is the rightmost portal, but it is static and therefore ignored.) These portals cycle at three-, four-, and six-hour intervals, respectively. All three portal's cycles sync at 0900EST and 2100EST.

To limit the number of abilities in the reward pool, limit the number of fighters. Remove any DLC fighters. If possible, do not complete the story mode, leaving Brainiac unavailable. This will leave 27 fighters. This ability was the 156th for me! May you have better luck! toast

Warning this is time consuming and a real grind but it guarantees the CAT CALL Ability needed for the achievement plus the legendary whip KYLE'S WHIP OF PAIN.

Do the Legendary Multiverse Cat Woman Events and you will get the Cat Call Ability.

External image

This Multiverse Contains 4 events:

EVENT 1 - SUPER SUSPICIOUS
EVENT 2 - HIDDEN TREASURE
EVENT 3 - SCRATCHING POST (Boss Fight)
EVENT 4 - JUST KITTEN (This event can be repeated for a cost of 50,000 Guild Credits)

Each multiverse event has a list of requirements. Mostly these are not difficult, just really time consuming and each event has to be completed in order. However there are a couple that should be noted and I have highlighted these in bold. If boss fights give you a bit of grief as they do me, just wear your epic gear and let the AI do it for you!!!

SUPER SUSPICIOUS:
*Level 20 Cat Woman required - Natural Progression
*1,000,000/1,000,000 - Credits Spent
*150/150 - Damaging Environmental Interactions used with Cat Woman - RB button appears.
*200/200 - Villians Defeated - Set up matches with Villains (Joker, Bane, etc)
*50/50 - Boss events completed with Cat Woman - Get the AI to do if for you!
* Complete Survivor Event with Cat Woman - Get the AI to do it for you!

TIP: - SELL ALL YOUR RARE AND NORMAL GEAR for every character and you will get 1,000,000 credits required quickly enough. **IMPORTANT NOTE** Do not, I repeat... DO NOT SELL THE RARE GEAR FOR CAT WOMAN or you will kick your self when you start on the requirements for the SCRATCHING POST!!!

HIDDEN TREASURE:
*Level 20 Cat Woman required - Natural Progression
*100/100 - Regen Tokens Sacrificed
*150/150 - Arena Transitions used with Cat Woman
*3,000,000 - Damage dealt with Cat Woman - Natural Progression
*100/100 - Multiverse Events Completed With Cat Woman - Natural Progression
* SUPER SUSPICIOUS must be completed - Natural Progression

SCRATCHING POST:
*Level 20 Cat Woman required - Natural Progression
*250/250 - Rare or better gear sacrificed for Catwoman
*1000/1000 - Match Victories with Catwoman - Natural Progression
*Pounce as the final Hit - (Down, Down, A Button)
* 3,000 / 3,000 - Minutes played with Cat Woman - A total of 50 hours!!!
*Hidden Treasure Must be Completed - Natural Progression

TIP: - Start playing with Cat Woman straight away!!! You have 50 hours to get through. I found the best way was through making the matches last as long as possible if you have a friend who you can boost with... Do Online Versus Matches against each other. If you start a search for each other at the same time I found most of the time I would find them. Simply let the clock count down to zero.

And another great reason to do this Legendary Multiverse Event for Cat Woman is this:
External image

This is what you get after completing the 3rd Event!

TIP: - SAVE EVERY PIECE OF RARE AND EPIC GEAR THAT YOU GET!!! I did not realize I had to sacrifice this stuff until I started working on unlocking the 3rd event. As a result I completed the 50 hours first and still had about 30 pieces of rare gear to collect!!!! shock

JUST KITTEN:
*Level 20 Cat Woman required - Natural Progression
*50,000 GUILD CREDITS SPENT PER ATTEMPT - Get the AI to do the fight for you!
*SCRATCHING POST MUST BE COMPLETED

TIP: - Save a lot of guild credits for the JUST KITTEN event as you can do it as many times as needed. (Guild credits can be earned by joining a guild any playing in the guild multiverse event.) Each successful attempt will grant you one of Cat Woman's abilities. When I did this I had 4 out of her 6 abilities unlocked. The first time I beat the JUST KITTEN EVENT I unlocked the CAT CALL. I only now have one more ability to unlock which as you can see by the screen shot is call NINE LIVES.
External image

Now you may get lucky and get Cat Woman's Cat Call before you even finish using her for 50 hours... But the odds are not in your favor. In the base game alone (Not including any DLC) there are 177 abilities to unlock. 56 of those you unlock already if you level each character up to level 20... That leaves 121 abilities to unlock from the random loot boxes or random events... I had 32 abilities left before I finally completed the Legendary Cat Woman Multiverse event. I basically did every single Random Ability Event every time it was available hoping that each time the game would be nice to me...

External image

But as it turns out working my way through the Legendary Catwoman Multiverse was my best shot.

NOW TO DO THE ACHIEVEMENT: Simply get your opponent down to almost no health and then hit the buttons Forward, Down, Back, A and watch as a super puss missing it boots steals the glory and grants you victory.toast

Silly question but I am going to ask anyway!
The ' Spend 1million credits' for Super Suspicious; does it have to be in one go? I ask because I know I have bought mother boxes before, and yet I am still showing 0/1,000,000 credits spent.
Thanks !
Update . Figured it out and am still slogging away with Catwoman for this insane achievement.

Keep slogging away and the answer is no you don't have to spend all those credits at once. Just incase anyone else is wondering.

Would there be any reason getting ALL characters to level 30? I have Catwoman at 30 and I'm going backwards and forwards about getting the other characters as hopefully that will mean (maybe) better stuff from the mother boxes and potentially Cat Call. What do you think?

2 years later... but if anyone shows up here with BRANIAC1972's question, you don't have to spend the credits on other things. You have to go to that event and donate the credits to that specific event, same way you do with the regen tokens and gear.

Still working towards this lol. But yes this is the best guide on the site currently. The odds are that doing the legendary multiverse for her is going to be faster than grinding mother boxes or even the random ability towers.

Best guide on TA and it's 3rd. Did not realise that this existed and once you unlock the 3rd event you can repeat it until you get cat call. I have a lot of hours left of playing as Catwoman but at least this is better than praying for a lootbox to have one or spending 150k credits on the ability Multiverse events up to 120 times

Great guide. I would point out that you can contribute to all the challenges from the get go (I was level 30 though so that may be a requirement idk). Reading this I assumed that you could only contribute to requirements for the current/next event.

I am unsure what a "Boss Event" is - is it the towers that have skulls over them?

Thank goodness for Cloud gaming, I was able to grind this at work over several weeks. I opened 1000+ mother boxes and did a couple dozen ability multiverse during the grind and still had to max her Legendary conditions to secure Cat Call.

Unfortunately, this is the best way to guarantee the ability, though the play 3,000 minutes requirement is an absolute chore. After two days of grinding I was only at 550 minutes even though all the other requirements were met. I eventually got lucky and got the ability out of a motherbox.

Along with the occasional ability tower, I recommend doing the other non-paid single tower for a handful of platinum boxes. I got Cat Call from one of these and I seemed to find this tower more often. (Deleting DLC helped)

All the other achievement guides are discussing long and grindy methods.

The easiest way to get the catwoman ability is to do Random Ability towers. These towers pop up very frequently and always have only one fight. Check the multiverse whenever you think about it and see if there is a random ability tower, do it, and move on with your day.

There are only a finite number of abilities. Each character has about 4 or 5 that can drop from boxes. With DLC characters that is still a lot of abilities, but in doing the ability towers you are guaranteed to get an ability, which means eventually you will get it.

I play Injustice 2 a lot so I am checking the towers every day and sometimes I will be playing online and check it a couple of times a day and through that I have earned all the abilities on several of the characters. You can tell because when you go to their Legendary Multiverse it will say "random ability" for the reward of the final tower. If you have only one ability left to earn it will say that ability specifically, and if you have earned them all there will not be a reward listed.

TL;DR don't grind for boxes looking for abilities. Do ability towers in the multiverse.

Update: I have 100%ed this game. I played 382 hours. In those 382 hours I opened a lot of boxes and did a lot of Random Ability Towers.

I got all the abilities for: Atrocitus, Bane, Blue Beetle, Cheetah, Swamp Thing, Black Adam, Catwoman, Supergirl, Captain Cold, Aquaman, Cyborg, Green Arrow, Doctor Fate, Poison Ivy, Green Lantern, Gorilla Grodd, Harley Quinn, Black Manta, Atom, Darkseid, Raiden, Red Hood, Sub-Zero, and Starfire.

I am missing only one ability for: Batman, Wonder Woman, Brainiac, Deadshot, Flash, Scarecrow, Firestorm, Robin, Black Canary, Joker, and Superman.

I am missing multiple for: Hellboy, Enchantress, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Your milage may very because what you get is random. I just wanted to give an account of what I ended up with.

Got it today using this method. I’ve been doing the Random Ability towers daily for about two weeks. Total playing time around 214 hours. Eek.

THIS IS THE GUIDE TO USE!!!!

The random ability towers are the 150,000 credit to unlock boss fight in the Multiverse, it’s the smallest planet besides the Battle Simulator. They don’t always spawn (other spawns are the 75,000 and 100,000 towers), but will at least once a day. There’s not that many droppable abilities so you’ll get it relatively soon.

Anyone having any issues with random ability events not popping up for the last 2-3 days? I’ve been checking almost all of them and there was usually one daily at the least. I was on a good pace to getting cat call but now progress has halted to a snails pace.

I would also recommend uninstalling all DLC as it creates a smaller loot pool. Although the way it's headed for me, I'm about to get Cat Fight last. Has anyone actually unlocked this early in play?

Nothing wrong with this solution per se, but at 150k per attempt the credit cost adds up extremely fast. You have to play quite a bit to maintain attempts, it's not like you can simply log in daily, roll the dice, and try again the next day. To that end this is best supplemented with going for Catwoman's Legendary Multiverse covered in another solution. Maybe you'll get lucky during the grind but I sure didn't.

This seems like a pretty good solution, and if you wait until you have character's leveled up then the cost isn't really an issue. If you make sure to grind as many Multiverses as possible while doing this (using the AI of course) then the money isn't really much of a worryy

Good point. I played so much that I always had enough credits to unlock towers, but the cost is a factor.

I've used the ability towers to obtain all abilities, so I thought I'd give some info for those wondering how long that may take.
Checking those religiously 3-4 times a day, it has taken me 75 days (worth noting in the process I obtained a few in motherboxes).
So if you're a completionist, be ready to commit for the long haul. And if you only want this chieve, still faster than completing the legendary tower, unless you're happy playing as Catwoman only (although might as well progress on it at the same time)

Probably worth mentioning that in order to do this method, you want to make sure you never have less than 150,000 credits since all the ability towers seem to require that much to unlock them. 300,000 if you want to be safe in case two pop up back-to-back. For that reason it's worth doing the other multiverse events that give diamond and platinum mother boxes in the meantime, since those will usually generate 3-4 more bronze/silver/gold mother boxes along the way, which gets you more credits and gear to sell to be sure you can sustain that credit amount. And plus the boxes seem to get me an ability every 30-40 pieces of gear.

It really is all about making sure you can do those ability towers though, just like you said. Kinda wish they'd stop doing the events for specific characters that take up a multiverse spot for 3-4 days at a time.

Cat Fight Achievement/Trophy Guide

The "Cat Fight" achievement/trophy is going to be the most difficult and painful of Injustice 2 due to it being based entirely off RNG meaning some people may get it on their first try, some people may get it 20 hours later (Like myself).

The following method that I used which I have found to be the best requires a bit of preparation which I will detail below.

- Firstly you will want to save up around 100-200,000 Coins which can be earned from Story Mode, Mother Boxes, Versus, AI Battle Simulator, Multiplayer, Selling Gear & Multiverse. You can also earn them by completing challenges found on your Hero Card in the Extras tab of the menu.
- Next you will want to get rid of all Mother Boxes that you current possess. The reason for this is because once you earn them the items that you get from them instantly lock meaning they will always be the exact same every time you open them.

Now that you have done the above, these are the steps you need to follow:

Note: YOU WILL ONLY WANT TO OPEN BRONZE BOXES.

- Xbox One -
Start Up Injustice 2 > Disconnect From The Internet Through Settings > Use All The Coins You Have > Close The Game > Delete Your Save > Reconnect To The Internet > Start The Game > Re-sync The Save From The Cloud > Repeat.

- PlayStation 4 -
Back Up Save In PS4 Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Copy To USB Device > Use All Your Coins > Delete The Save > Copy The Save From The USB To The PS4 > Repeat.

Remember, the more coins that you hold the more chances you have at getting the skill.

Level 20 Farming
The second option is to farm all your characters to level 20. This way you can open higher level gear which you can sell for a lot of credits. This will however take a good 8-12 hours with all characters unless you purchase gems with real money which can level a character up from 1 to 20 with 10,000.

Multiverse & Character Bias
The third option is to turn on "Character Gear Bias" in the options menu and play through multiverse games as Catwoman. This will allow your most played character to get more gear drops specifically for them.

IMPROVE YOUR ODDS

Having this game on two consoles at home, I have the tendency to swap systems depending which room i'm in.

When playing with NO DLC installed I have found that I do not get gear for these characters even though I have used them in the past.

So my recommendation is that if you are not using the DLC character while trying to chase gear and abilities , REMOVE them ( these are small downloads and wont take much to put back)

Many others may have noticed this but I have put this here for the NEW player (who purchased Legendary Edition like myself) or anyone who does has not paid much attention to this detail.

This WILL NOT guarantee CAT CALL but will improve your odds some what

**As of June 6, 2017, this method has been patched**

This method is patched. You can't delete your logs anymore.
Posted by Fooga today at 01:16

To add to the two posts here about this move being RNG, as of 5/20/2017, there's an easier way to farm gold mother boxes. Customize your AI loadout for your three best characters (copy and paste works well), then go to multiplayer, AI battle simulator, and fight a set of low level defenders with those characters. You can set the fast forward to 4x and earn 5 gold mother boxes fairly easily (Gold mother box for wins, bronze for losses). After 5 fights, check your battle log and you will see that it says 5/5 daily rewards obtained. Delete your 5 logs, and that number will decrease to zero, allowing you to earn 5 more just as easily without losing the box that has already been awarded to you. I got 15 gold mother boxes in 15 minutes. This will greatly speed up your farming needs and increase your chance of obtaining Cat Call. I would expect this to be patched very soon, but at the time of this writing, it still works. Happy farming!

Sanada It's worth noting that you'll get the same gear from the boxes, but it's still worth doing because you can sell the stuff and you get credits from the boxes.

I just want to stress how painful this achievement is, specially after recent patches. I have been playing Injustice 2 for over 165 hours, but still no Cat Call ability.

Beware:
- After the last patch, I've stopped receiving abilities from boxes (including the rare ones), making the achievement much harder. Below, some user have reported that they are still getting them from rare boxes, even after the patches;
- Multiverse Towers which reward random abiities are the easiest way to get Cat Call. However, if you happen to get the ability before the first 100 hours playing the game, please bet in the Lottery (seriously speaking). You are a lucky man;
- There is a way to get the ability through Legendary Multiverse (that demands you to play with Catwoman for over 50 hours, amongst other requirements). The catch is that there is a glitch in the game that resets your progress in Legendary Multiverse. If you are willing to take this path, DO NOT play the game in multiple consoles, and make sure the file in your device is always sinchronized with the one in the cloud.
- Last but not least, don't give up. We are all on the same boat! laugh

Love you all!

**My Solution as of 2021**

So this is a guide for anyone in 2021 who still wants to obtain this achievement. It builds off of previous guides, but I will give you my personal (text heavy) strategy which took me about 3 days with minimal effort and didn’t require a special controller. You’ll be using your AI loadout mostly.

So like others said, If you complete the legendary multiverse requirements for Catwoman, you can replay the last accessible tower over and over (for 50,000 guild credits) to get random Catwoman abilities. There’s only about 7 abilities for Catwoman, some you should obtain naturally, so you really only need like 200,000 guild credits by the end of this to guarantee Cat Call.

From Tonesta34’s post:
The Catwoman Multiverse Contains 4 necessary events:

EVENT 1 - SUPER SUSPICIOUS
EVENT 2 - HIDDEN TREASURE
EVENT 3 - SCRATCHING POST (Boss Fight)
EVENT 4 - JUST KITTEN
(This event can be repeated for a cost of 50,000 Guild Credits)

**While you must complete Event 1 before gaining access to Event 2, you can still fulfill all Event Requirements at any time. Therefore, we’re going to start chipping away at the two HARDEST requirements first: Win 1000 fights with Catwoman & Play as Catwoman for a total of 3000 minutes. The rest mostly comes naturally with this.

Before we start, please read over the Catwoman requirements to see what’s needed! For example, DO NOT sell any Rare or Epic Catwoman gear since you need to contribute 250 pieces for the Scratching Post event. Please read through the other guides to get a full understanding of what’s about to go down. Also, a quick tip, when your Catwoman reaches level 30, it will unlock an Augment. You’re going to want to go into your Customize Character and set your AI Catwoman’s loadout to have WHAT I WANT Augment. This will guarantee you get more Catwoman gear overtime.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Here's where it gets ridiculous, lol)
**Now for the most important requirement for this guide. You NEED a rotating/oscillating fan (or something else that moves back and forth on its own.) If you don’t have one, just go out and buy a decent, affordable one. Fans are a good item to have in your house anyways, right? You’re also going to need some object to “Press” the controller autonomously for you. You’ll have to figure all of this out on your own with what you got, but if you’re creative, it’s quick work.
***Another important thing to note is you’re going to go into your Settings > Accessories > Controller… and interchange RB to A, and A to RB. If you can’t figure it out just Google search it. It’s easy.
So for example, I have one of those tall, thin, upright looking fans. I put my controller on a nightstand and secured some heavy items around it so it has less of a chance to move out of place. I taped a little screwdriver to my oscillating fan so the handle end would click my controller’s RB every 10 seconds or so as the fan went back and forth. (I eventually changed the screwdriver for a pencil with an eraser because the eraser seemed to click the RB softer and more efficiently). See! Creative!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now let’s start with Win 1000 fights with Catwoman requirement. You’re going to want to get to about 800-900 wins before stopping, because there’s other requirements that you may need to clean up manually and there’s no sense in doing extra work. Remember, most of the other requirements will come naturally with this! Check your progress every now and then to see where you’re at and what’s needed.

1000 Fights – Multiverse Battle Simulator – 30 Enemy Survivor Tower (or Endless). Set your best gear AI Catwoman to do the job. Rinse and repeat until about 700 wins. Go do whatever you want while the fan plays for you, lol. Check back accordingly to reset a tower.

At about 700 wins, check your requirements for Beat 100 Bosses, 150 Area Transitions, and Pounce as Final hit. You will have to play some of these manually…
150 Area Transitions – Load up the smallest, 5 enemy Battle Simulator (to kill more bosses at a time). Put difficulty on Very Easy. Now if you are on a map with area transitions, just lead the enemy over to it and knock them though. Just keep doing this over and over again until you hit 150.
**Pounce! This should be done simultaneously with 150 Area Transitions. You can get TWO PER FIGHT. Transition your enemy as many times until their GRAY health is low. Perform Pounce to finish their half-life. Then transition them over and over again until their RED health is lower, then perform Pounce to finish them for good.
Pounce is a tricky move to get down but with practice you’ll get it. Press Down then Down+A to crouch, then hit A again to pounce. You’ll jump on the enemies chest, scratch their face, then kick them away. Check the Scratching Post requirements to make sure these are counting.
Beat 50 bosses – Find a multiverse event with a one boss tower (usually has a skull over it). Rinse and repeat the event with good AI over and over until you get 50.

Now that we have all those, let’s clean up any fights left for 1000 fights and move to the last 3000 minutes requirement. If you need guild credits, join a Guild and play the multiverse events that offer Guild Credits as reward. Use AI and just collect. As I stated, everything else should be coming naturally. You should be getting a ton of gear, credits, tokens, etc. Sell other superheroes gear to gain more if you need.

3000 minutes as Catwoman – The goal here is now to LOSE fights. Set up your AI Loadout 2 as a crappy loadout. Put common gear on, or anything that only increases defense or health to make the fights last even longer. Change the Perks section so that all of your points are on defensive skills. Go to Multiverse Battle Simulator. Pick the 10, 15, or 30. Set the difficulty to Very Hard. Now, let your Catwoman fight the enemies and lose. The fights should last about 3 minutes and at the end it should ask you to “Retry”, which the fan will click for you. For this, you can literally leave the house for the entire day and come back and it still might be playing! Mine was!

So in the end, it took about a day chillin at home to get the 700-800 fights with the fan, periodically resetting the battle tower when finished. Then, took a couple hours to clean up those transitions & pounce, and boss fights. Then it took another day or so of just leaving the losing fights on while I was off at work or sleeping. It was literally that easy and took almost no effort and some creativity. Got it all in about 3 days.

I know this guide is VERY text heavy but I wanted to make sure y’all got the full spectrum details to make it as easy and I did. I recommend, if you are around the console at home, check out other multiverse/guild events too. If there’s an event giving out Catwoman Gear DO IT. If there’s ones offering Random Abilities, do it. If there’s some offering Platinum/Diamond Boxes, do them. Otherwise, just rely on the battle towers and oscillating fan do most of the work for you.

Good luck! Drop a comment if this guide helped your or if you have any questions/suggestions to add!

Probably the slowest solution possible (429 hours at the time I unlocked this achievement, I'm so, so unlucky), but the least work on your part, and gets most of the other achievements in the process.

Join a guild, get someone to at least level 30 (so you can contribute/complete events), and do Guild Multiverse events for that guild. Buy the 150,000 Random Ability towers in regular Multiverse when they show up and you have the funds.

Guild Multiverse drops a ridiculous amount of boxes. Do you know there's a maximum number of boxes you can get at one time? It's 1000 across all categories. I learned the hard way and lost some diamond boxes. :/

The key to this being low effort is setting up AI fighter profiles and using them by hitting X on the character select screen (30 counter 30 combo, or 30 counter 30 zoning for ranged characters).

Connect to your xbox one with the Xbox app on Windows 10 PCs. You can stream to a computer or laptop and use your TV for something else, like Netflix. You just tap A periodically to advance past the "win" screen.

In the process of trying to farm for this Cat Call achievement, I got most of the character-specific achievements just because RNG had character X use their supermove to win, or the other criteria. Your characters will also continue leveling, and you will get some impressive gear over time.

Forget any guides for this achievement besides the ABILITY Multiverse. Every guide is irrelevant cause this one is the ultimate one.

Step 1: you must own the game and have your Xbox account as your home xbox (make sure all dlc is uninstalled as well and don’t start story mode cause you don’t wanna unlock brainiac, the less characters unlocked the better)

Step 2: go offline in your Xbox settings then restart your Xbox

Step 3: Once your Xbox is back on go into your settings and go to (Time) in the system section then change your Xbox date to January 23, 2023 @6:24am then go the the multiverse event with a boss multiverse (skull tower) it’s the multiverse with only 1 tower. With this date you get 1 diamond mother box + 3 platinum mother boxes

Step 4: once that is complete change the date to the next day then change the date back to the original and you can farm 100’s of diamond and platinum mother boxes for the cat call ability.

I also suggest get 1 character to level 20 or above because it’s required for you to do good in the tower. Then set an AI class up for the character you leveled up then make the AI play for you

Not to beat a dead horse or anything here, but the ability towers are by far the best method for grinding this one out. But it could still take awhile, it took me over 400 hours in game (Alot of which were done with the AI Loadouts)

The ability tower is usually the third from left and lasts for four hours and has a suggested level of 30.

Now the tower changes at the following times each day

6 AM->10 AM-> 2 PM -> 6 PM -> 10 PM-> 2 AM etc.

Cat Call for me was one of the last abilities I unlocked, out of around 280 or so (including the DLC fighters).

One small thing that helped was by checking each characters Legendary Multiverse, within each one is a tower that has the reward of "Random [INSERT CHARACTER NAME] Ability". Once you have only one ability left for that fighter it will reveal their final ability as the reward, and once you unlock that the reward is gone and is now only a platinum mother box. You might want to use this ti figure out exactly how many abilities you have left.

I would like to note that the Level 30 Augment that increases the gear bias for that character, do NOT alter the chances of getting this at all. So equipping it on Catwoman won't increase your chances.

Once you finally unlock the ability, go into Catwoman's inventory and equip it (It fills both ability slots). Then start up a single fight with Cheetah and make sure that Cat Call is the final move you perform for the finishing blow. The move is a Forward, Down, Back, A combo.

If your achievement doesn't unlock immediately, as mine didn't even after two attempts, try going to the achievement screen on Xbox Home and clicking on Injustice 2; this made it pop for me.

Good luck and don't give up; this achievement is largely luck based so you never know when you might get the ability.

As a bonus, the ability towers almost always award Platinum or Diamond mother boxes; though it's unlikely, you could still unlock the ability from these.

This trophy is completely luck based. You first need to unlock the Cat Call ability by getting it out of the motherboxes. I have read forums and everybody says to keep opening up bronze boxes until you get the ability unlocked because they are the cheapest to buy.
Good luck....

I've just been saving up around 250,000 coins, buying ~250 bronze boxes, selling all of the common/rare items and then buying more boxes. I'm around ~2500 boxes right now with no luck. I got 2 of her abilities, but neither is Cat Call. I've also noticed that you get an ability for leveling her to 20, which was also not Cat Call. This RNG is crazy. This is way too rare of an item.

Ive read about people opening 10,000-20,000 boxes and still not getting it. Hoping that this doesn't take that long.

I'm not nearly as high, only about 1000 bronze boxes. I'm barely getting ANY abilities, let alone hers. This is nuts.

Update: Bronze boxes WERE 1,000 credits each. It would appear that update 1.04 has increased that amount to 5,000 credits, making this more difficult to obtain now.

Yeah man. Trophies like this are garbage. No skill or grinding involved. This is one of the worst trophies I have ever seen. What WBGames should do is release a pack or give out a free DLC with this ability. Or even come up with its own type of motherbox, where its only abilities in it. Figure it out WB.

I was pretty pissed at this last night. I saved up 250,000 credits with the intention of opening ~250 bronze boxes and got totally boned on this.

I've also read that the update has now classified abilities as Epic gear, so opening Silver/Gold boxes is going to be the way to go on this I guess.

This is going to be one hell of a grind to try and find one of these.

It also sucks that there isn't any market place involved with this game. So the 20 people with the trophy could sell these abilities to other people with the in-game tokens.

^ That would be a great idea. At the very least the ability to trade character gear/abilities to other people if you really wanted to.

They've added a new Multiverse where you can earn random abilities. This is probably the best bet for getting this. It's the 4th one over, changes every 6 hours and requires 150,000 credits to enter it. Completion rewards are a Diamond box and random ability.
I saw on X1, that they figured out how to delete your save to continue replying the event over and over since it only currently allows you to play it once. Maybe if we can figure out how to manipulate the game save the way they did, we could make this easier to obtain.

^ Just got 9 Lives from this, so it'll def give out Catwoman abilities. Make sure when you do it though that it's the 150k one not the 100k one. The 100k one only gives you a shader.

It also doesn't help that there are 4-6 abilities for each fighter in the game. I have 3 abilities unlocked for Catwoman and not one of them is Cat Call. This is really garbage.

Finally got this garbage trophy. Easy way to get abilities is in the multiverse. Look for the boss battles that unlock a random ability after you win. This is where I unlocked the Cat Call ability. Good Luck with this trash.

This has been patched to death now, bronze boxes are 5000 gold and they only give common gear. Every skill event takes 150,000 gold, cloud save doesn't work anymore either and there around 180 skills (if you didn't download the dlc characters) so this trophy just reached a level of stupidity that surpasses my humble human understanding. headspin

Just got it 4/29/2020. My advice is to sell all items. Use the credits to do the single player, Multiverse events. These multiverse events renew every 4 hours. I just kept going back every 4 hours and doing the events that offered an ability of platinum and diamond boxes. Pick the multiverse events that get you platinum and diamond boxes. That’s where the abilities come from. They’re all epic and you need to guarantee yourself an epic drop or you’re wasting your time. Once I figured out to do the method above it only took about two weeks to get the Cat Call ability and other abilities. Good luck.

Can’t believe this. I got the Cat Call ability. We all know how rare that is. Now the achievement won’t pop. I’m finishing cheetah off with the ability and it’s not unlocking. I’m stunned. I’ll have to see if it’s happening to anyone else.

Turned on the Xbox one the next day And it popped after doing the cat call about 20 times.

this is not a solution I'm still trying it so I can't say it will work so far!

Well, I've been looking for the cat woman's skill, playing multiverse and battle simulator, until it came to my mind to try to change the console's date and time to see if the multiverse would change and just as I imagined it really did! since then I've been testing dates to see if multiverses of skills appear and I've already found some but nothing about the cat woman's skill yet, I don't know if putting the date of some day when someone got the cat woman's skill in a skill multiverse, it would have the same luck so here's the tip for those who want to test it too, I'll keep trying and any news I'll update this post!

feel free to comment if you know of anything that might help toast

Cat Call is a special move gained via Mother Box award. You can purchase them (or win them), but cannot get the achievement until you have the move in your inventory. This might be the hardest achievement in the game, because you need to farm coins for a long long long time to purchase Mother Boxes. Refer to "Garage Sale" for tips on how to get loot items more quickly.

Another way to get special abilities is the multiverse. It has an event that is just a boss fight and as a completion award u get a diamond box (the best box) and a random ability. Recommend a level 20 character and spam the ally help abilities as the boss has a shield. It does however cost 150,000 credits to just play, but probably worth it compared to risking 25,000 gold with a low chance of winning an ability.

Cat Call is a special purple ability from Catwoman that you need to find while opening Mother Boxes, it's an entirely RNG (Random Number Generator). The odds to have it are extremely low and it might be the major will and patience test you could ever face, if WB never patches it.

Having good luck you can find it in the very first boxes you open but, on average you will need to open thousand boxes to have it.

After some patches iTehDroiD has shared a great method to earn this ability, read THIS.

Also here is another great method to find it, but you need to have at less 150,000 coins (Credits: DISCOKING) (*Patch Note*) With the latest patch 1.07 the game creates a new multiverse save file which need to be untouched. Read THIS post to learn how it works. Credits: (monsterdadhelp)

Ability List
Multiverse Events List: Dates and Times

Note: This must all be done online and with the current 1.04 patch.

Step 1: Wait for a multiverse world that costs 150,000 that awards an ability and a diamond box for completing it.

Step 2: Pay the 150k for the world, but do not play it yet.

Step 3: Close application and upload save to the cloud.

Step 4: Boot up game to play the multiverse and earn your rewards (ability and diamond box) quit to the main menu.

Step 5: Close application and download save from the cloud. When you boot back up you should have kept your earned ability and your diamond box.

Step 6: Go back to the multiverse and play it again. At the completion of the event you should now have a second ability and 2 diamond boxes.

Close application and repeat the process as many times as you like or until you get the ability you are after, such as Cat Call.

Here is the video so you can see all steps:

Another method is following this steps but take in mind could be the longest road because everytime you replace your save you will start from scratch:

  1. Firstly you will want to save up around 100-200,000 Coins which can be earned from Story Mode, Mother Boxes, Versus, AI Battle Simulator, Multiplayer, Selling Gear & Multiverse. You can also earn them by completing challenges found on your Hero Card in the Extras tab of the menu.
  2. Next you will want to get rid of all Mother Boxes that you currently possess. The reason for this is because once you earn them the items that you get from them are instantly locked meaning they will always be the exact same every time you open them.
  3. Now that you have done the above, back up your save file to USB. PS4 Settings, Application Saved Data Management, Saved Data in System Storage, Copy To USB Device.
  4. Start up the game and disconnect from the internet through PS4 Network Settings.
  5. Use all your coins to open ONLY Bronze Mother Boxes and cross your fingers. (*)
  6. If you are out of coins and luck delete your PS4 save and copy it from your USB to the PS4.
  7. Repeat from 4th step until you finally find it.

Once you have that move you need to equip it in the characters customization screen and use it at any match against Cheetah as a final hit using this combo: (having your rival to the right).

(*) With the 1.04 patch the cost of the boxes increased, so it's recommended to delete the entire game, re-install it (without the patch) and buy all you want with the original costs being offline. Note that doing this only works for retail owners. Digital owners can't delete the patch.

Visit the related thread so you can be informed about getting this very rare gear while you open boxes: Cat Fight. Watch this video to see how it works:

Boost method with patch 1.05:

First, it is advisable to level up the Cat to level 20. And use it, having previously turned on loot drops, depending on the selected character. Or disable it if you are using another one. We DO NOT turn off the Internet.

We are waiting for a tower with an ability (Or a tower where the prize is a platinum box, from which abilities also fall), where your opponent will only be the boss. You can install the AI Kit.

1. Pay for the tower and exit the game without completing it.

2. Copy the “Player Settings” file to the flash drive/PS+.

3. We go through the tower and when we get the ability, press X (confirm) and “AT THE SAME MOMENT” close the game.

4. Load the save file onto the console.

5. Launch the game, enter the multiverse and click on the desired planet. At this stage it will be marked as completed.

6. Close the game again and load the same save file back into the console.

7. Launch the game and wait 10 seconds in the main menu for the inventory to load (this can be monitored by counting the boxes that are always given with the ability).

8. We launch the multiverse and see that the planet is again available for passage.

9. Repeat from point 3 until you receive the ability.

ATTENTION!!!! If you just bought the game, I advise you DO NOT ACTIVATE Darkseid and DO NOT BUY DLC with the characters. Although this is not much, it will slow down getting the trophy.

There is one point. I also found this method, but it happens that after manipulation, platinum boxes accumulate, but abilities do not. When I started customizing my characters, half of the abilities dropped in this way (after the patch, of course) were not preserved.
Therefore, before replaying the tower, I advise you to check whether the previously dropped ability is still there after manipulating the save.

Several times a day a tower opens, for completing which you are given a random, non-repeatable skill. The tower costs 150,000 coins and is updated approximately every 3-9 hours.

The method of farming abilities in digital version 1.21, subject to fast Internet.

1. Upload the entire save to a flash drive/cloud
2. Go to the multiverse screen with a random ability prize before paying the cost of participation (100k or 150k)
3. Disable the Internet in the console options
4. Pay the multiverse fee
5. Leave the game
6. Turn on the Internet and download the save to the console from a flash drive or cloud
7. We go into the game, make sure that access to the desired multiverse has been paid for, and no money has been debited
8. Upload the save to a flash drive or to the cloud
9. We go through the multiverse, we get a random ability as a prize
10. Delete the game and download it again.
11. Load the save from a flash drive or cloud (from step 8)
12. The Multiverse is again available for playthrough and paid for
13. Repeat until the ability is dropped or the 4-hour cycle of the multiverse ends. When you quickly jump the game, you can do 15+ times, and do any other things during the jump.

This method is recommended to be used after all characters have reached level 20 and without purchasing additional characters, thus reducing the number of attempts to a minimum.

In addition to abilities, you can farm money and loot boxes, which can also bring you closer to getting what you need. I recommend spending any excess coins on golden loot boxes, since the ability is considered an epic category of equipment.

After receiving the “cat call” ability, set it as the active female cat, fight the cheetah and finish it off with the ability as a final blow (right, down, left, cross).

Whoever bought the Legendary edition or the digital game, I advise you to immediately download the legendary multiverse for Catwoman. You won’t lose time anyway. The tests there are not difficult, the only thing you have to do is spend 3000 minutes in battle with the cat, but while you’re playing with it, you can farm guild gold and when you’re done test, you will have enough for all the abilities of a cat woman.

During the entire game, only 3 abilities dropped after the battle. You can play as a cat first until you unlock the legendary multiverse for her. The ability drops around 500, 1000 and 1500 battles. My opinion has never dropped again. So you can enable loot drops on your character in the gameplay settings and play out these battles. No matter where. Possible online, towers. There were +/- 100 battles every 500th.

In order to retain your abilities, after deleting your save, you must go into the multiverse and wait a little.
- After the first save reset, we go into the multiverse and almost immediately close the game.
- For the second time, we reset the save - and be sure to immediately go to the multiverse. Open it and wait 10 seconds... or so.

Then the acquired abilities are loaded normally again and only after these manipulations can you go and check to make sure that something is not lost.

z.y. In fact, it is not necessary to pump the cat. Based on the results of the event, it is still random. The option to link the received gear only works at the end of the battle (when exp and so on are awarded, and sometimes the gear drops out)

I've been driving multi-vehicle for half a year now. From a planet for 150 gold, where a random ability drops, they give abilities for anyone, but not for a catwoman. I feel like I should have played as Catwoman first, since apparently the game gives out all kinds of loot with priority to the first characters. I was the last to start swinging as a catwoman. This is the dumbest loot farming in games. Destiny is resting

What is most interesting is that no one has written down the further steps to obtain the ability - and to celebrate, you can get a little confused and make unnecessary gestures.
So:
1. The ability must be included in some character’s kit and in the subsequent battle to knock out the achievement, choose it.
2. Finish by about 15% with a combination

PS I was lucky with the randomness, not to mention something else: Catwoman was pumped up to level 30, the character’s AI kit included the “Just What You Need” improvement, which increases the dependence of loot on the character, it opens at level 30.
Well, with this set, under the strict guidance of the AI, she periodically drove her through different universes - a total of a dozen, of which there were only two for access to a random ability (which are 150,000 each). It was on the second (and last) of them that “Cat’s Call” came out. I was expecting a long and tedious fight, but in fact I got it on the third day of the game and was very pleasantly surprised.

Considering that I have 1 DLC character, a total of 186 skills, of which 58 were obtained upon reaching level 20 with all characters. There are 128 skills and the one I needed was 97 skill. I spent 80 hours playing on platinum.

My advice is to put gear on the AI, set all the AI characters with the settings Combo-30 Counterattack-30 and live in the multiverse.
1. Beat all the planets that give platinum and diamond chests.
2. How to save up money, always go through the multiverse for 150,000 coins for a random ability.
I didn’t find any point in buying gold chests because... out of 50 chests for 1,250,000 coins, at best you will get 1 skill.

If all the planets are completed, that is, there are planets in which a tower with 12 opponents gives a platinum chest, we beat it constantly until it is updated.

3. Going through the legendary multiverse is useless because of the task “spend 3000 minutes in the game as a catwoman” or 50 hours (Only your time in battle is taken into account)

A total of 180 abilities for 28 standard characters (Information 100%) (Where they write that there are 189 abilities, don’t believe it, perhaps this is counted with the DLC character Darkside). Of these, 2 abilities are given to each character upon reaching level 20 (the first ability at level 10 and the second ability at level 20) for a total of 56 abilities . There are 124 abilities left that can drop randomly from different sources.

Here is a list of characters by number of abilities:

5 – Cheetah, Gorrila Grodd, Green Arrow, Poison Ivy, Supergirl, Superman. (Number of characters: 6)
6 – Aquaman, Atrocitus, Bane, Black Canary, Blue Beetles, Brainiac, Catwoman, Fire Storm, Joker, The Flash, Scarecrow, Swampthing. (Number of characters: 12)
7 – Black Adam, Cyborg, Deadshot, Doctor Fate, Green Lantern. (Number of characters: 5)
8 - Captain Cold, Harley Quinn, Robin. (Number of characters: 3)
9 – Batman. (Number of characters: 1)
10 – Wonderwoman. (Number of characters: 1)

It's better not to buy DLC characters until you get the desired ability from Catwoman. Otherwise fishing will drag on for a longer time.

Methods of obtaining:

First method. Track the third planet from the right, which resets to zero every 4 hours . The daily update according to Moscow time starts at 17:00. And the next update at 21:00, 01:00, 05:00, 09:00, 13:00 and again at 17:00. The only negative is the cost to complete it , which is 150,000 credits , but you are 100% likely to get some kind of ability. This method was the main one for me to obtain the cat ability.

Second method. It involves opening precious boxes. The priority, of course, is diamond, platinum and gold . The other two, silver and bronze, are not so popular in ability drops (tested only in my experience), but still they also drop abilities. This method was my second priority; I always tried to get diamond, platinum or gold boxes.

Third method. It consists of going through the legendary multiverse as a catwoman, but it seems to me that this method takes the longest, well, except if you are a fan of the catwoman.

Fourth method. It consists of a regular random after any battle, which can drop any ability.
