To get this you must activate Blue Beetle's character power by hitting

button. Basically I'm hitting

Can this be done in story mode?

Should work fine in story mode but 2 player local versus is easiest since you won't have opposing A.I. working against you. Obviously you'll need 2 controllers for versus. If you don't have 2, then you'll have to try another mode.

Thanks for the guide! If anyone is struggling with this what helped me was activating beetle's extended blades with the B button before imputing the above mentioned combo.

The advice in the guide, as well as in the comments, is wrong. You don't press RT and A at the same time. You press RT at the moment the attack connects. So, press B to activate spiky blade hands, then (facing right), input left, right, A. Blue Beetle will leap toward his opponent with his handblades out. At the moment the attack connects, THEN hit RT. You can launch the attack from a good distance away, and doing so might make the timing a bit easier if you're still struggling.

Select any mode you like, select Blue Beetle as your main character and any as your rival. Select any map and start the match.

Once the match starts, keep hitting your rival until he has around 10% of health left in his red bar, make sure you have at least one boost bar filled. At this point, using Blue Beetle stay middle-close to your rival and press to activate his power, then perform this combo (having your rival to the right) (keep spamming ). If you see a quick white flash around Blue Beetle this means you have performed the Meter Burn correctly. Once your rival is defeated with the last hit of this combo, the match will end showing the trophy in the screen.
