Easy way to get rare gear for this achievement and for further character customization. AI Simulation battles will yield you gold boxes from winning 5 challenges a day, bronze if you lose. You also can get up to 5 a day for defending. My buddy and I boost for each other after getting our wins so we can each get 5 golds from defending. Helpful tip even beyond this achievement. Hope this helps someone.
