How to unlock the Heavy Hitter achievement in Injustice: Gods Among Us - Definitive Guide

An idiot-proof method! Requires no skill, no extra equipment. Takes 15-20min.
In short, I'm utilizing stage transitions in practice mode to boost combo counter.

........the Setup.............
Launch Practice mode. (Main Menu>Single Player>Training>Practice)
Starting with Bats, pick each character in rotation. Be methodical. Keep track.
Opponent doesn't matter. By default it's Joker.
Choose stage "Fortress of Solitude" (right column, second row)

........the Method.............
Back your opponent to the right corner by forward dashing (mash d-pad/l-stick towards).
Once relatively close to the edge, hit away+heavy (d-pad left+A by default).
Watch the transition mini-cutscene, note combo counter in top left corner (next to health)
Once you see the damage % being displayed under the combo counter, you're good.
Go back to player select, switch fighters, repeat. Easy!

.......the Advanced tips......
Some characters' Supers (i.e. Ares') or Specials (i.e. Deathstroke's) hit 10+ times. You can skip over certain characters if you've done all supers and/or all meter burns prior. However, you'll only save a minute or two.

Some level transitions (i.e. Insurgency's) rack up 10+ hits. If you feel like multitasking keep switching chars and stages to combine this achievement with
Injustice: Gods Among UsWrecking BallThe Wrecking Ball achievement in Injustice: Gods Among Us worth 12 pointsKnock an opponent through a transition

It's possible to work on 2 characters at a time. Keep rotating both P1 and P2. In match, go to Start>Practice options>Control character #2. Thanks,Pyroloveridge

Great guide, you can add that if you take two characters that you need to do it with, once the first is done. Go to practice options and switch control to player 2 then move to the left for the transition. Makes it a touch quicker

So once the % damage appears it registers and you are safe to back out to player select? Is that correct? As I'm gonna start working on some of these transition and combo cheevs later. Thx.

This achievement can be done in practice mode. Many of the games arenas have stage transitions that result in combos of 10 hits or more, allowing you to earn a 10 hit combo through just a single input.

Go to practice mode, choose a character and the Wayne's Manor stage. Push your opponent all the way to the right, and press backwards+A to do the level transition. Wait for the animation to end, and you'll see you've landed a 16 hit combo. This counts as landing a 10 hit combo for that character.

Now go back to character select and repeat these steps for all 24 characters. Work your way through each character in order so you can keep track easily. Once you've done this with every character, the achievement will unlock.

Other levels that can be used are:
-Themyscira
-Insurgency
-Watchtower
-Stryker's Island
-Fortress of Solitude
-Metropolis
-Wayne's Manor

If you have already activated every character's super move, (LT and RT) than the list below is of characters you have already performed a 10-hit combo with, their super moves acting as that 10-hit combo.

-Ares
-Batman
-Cyborg
-Death stroke
-Doomsday

Now, for the other 19 characters you have to go through, the list below is of levels you can transition enemies through for at least a 10-hit combo, and which side the transitions are located on.

-Fortress of Solitude (on the right)
-Insurgency (left)
-Metropolis (right)
-Stryker's Island (left)
-Themyscira (left)
-Watchtower (left)
-Wayne's Manor (right)

Please comment if you have questions or negative votes for me :)

Thanks for listing the characters that don't need this if special move is already done!

If you are thinking about performing every supermove character, let me tell you that just 5 players can hit a 10+ combo with this move. Here's the list of all the supermove and a hits summary (hits are in the brackets): LINK

There are various methods to perform a 10+ hit with all characters to gain this trophy but the faster way is to perform a long transition with the characters that don’t have 10+ hits on their supermove (See chart). There are some transitions around all Arenas when you can easily perform like 14-18 hits on it. One of the great transitions (short and efficient) for this is trophy is Lagoon in the Batcave Arena, remember to press :triangle: to choose the desired stage.

Once you select the desire player and select Lagoon stage, go to the left side of the screen where the transition is and press :right: + :cross: against your rival. You will sent him/her inside the elevator and he/her will receive a bunch of gifts, 14-15 at less, end the match and repeat the process with the remaining fighters needed.

According with Yoda91192 you can unlock it on Practice Mode so bear this in mind if you don't have a second controller but it's recommended to do it any other mode to gain some XP needed to reach the 100 level on the road. Ultimately the decision is up to you.
