How to unlock the The Hero We Deserve achievement in Injustice: Gods Among Us - Definitive Guide
It's 50,796,671 XP to reach level 100. Level 90 is approx. the halfway point.
If you're looking to grind some levels, there's a fast and easy farming method playing local matches with a second controller.
Go to Gameplay Settings and set MATCH TIMER to OFF.
Start a Versus match with a second controller. Choose a gadget type character like Batman and the Atlantis stage. When the match starts, maneuver both characters so that the glass ball on the left is on the edge of the screen. You want to make sure there's no room for you to jump away so that you'll always land in front of the ball again.
Hit RB to vault off the glass ball. Each time you do it, it counts as using an interactable for 50xp. Unlike the majority of other interactables, it's not destroyed, and there is no cooldown so you can hit RB over and over forever. This way, you can earn XP while you do other much more important things, like watch TV. If you have a turbo controller, you can tape down RB and leave it on overnight.
Keep in mind that you'll need to complete the match to save your progress. Match Boost XP cards can be bought to speed this up further, but it's best to limit the amount you buy because access cards are needed to earn unlockables in the Archives for the 'Hoarder' achievement. You should have enough cards to buy everything by level 68, so after that you're free to buy as many XP boosts as you want.
Important note: You lose your XP boosts when you quit the game, so be sure to make the most of them before turning off your console.

This solution is perfect and I commend you for it, good sir. I can confirm that you can gain about 50k XP every 15 minutes depending on how fast you can press the RB button. I'm going to be posting a video on my solution for the Gonna Need More Closet Space achievement demonstrating your method. Would you mind adding it to this solution as well?
Here's my video explaining the process and achievement requirements. http://youtu.be/uexj4oRv2a4

What kind of XP are you guys generally getting? i let mine run for 9.5 to 10 hrs last night and got approximately 1,200,000 XP. I had the 4xboost active but was wondering if people are getting similar to that? doing a math ratio conversion from Cornerscout's post should be getting people 2,000,000 XP for 10 hours.

I got a different method for farming XP.
Your character would be Doomsday and Arena would be Hall of Justice, Interaction you'd be spamming is the robot on far fight of the arena. Cooldown seems way faster than the Atlantis interaction as the animation is just a grab instead of acrobatic jump so you can spam the button even faster and compared to flash's interaction you can't really glitch it.
Remember: Use your x5 bonus and don't turn off the game unless you totally done as it works as long as you are in the same game session you enabled it.

This method works the best and requires the least effort. Compared to Atlantis (1600 interaction per 45 minutes) , hall of justice nets about 3500 interactions per 45 minutes for me. Thanks for the guide man.

**FASTER TURBO CONTROLLER METHOD** (possible to do it manually too)
This method can earn you massive amounts of XP points, especially overnight with very little effort if you have a turbo controller.
1. On the menu go to game settings. Turn the timer off.
2. Go back to the menu and select Multiplayer. Then select Versus.
3. On the character select screen, press start on controller 2 and pick Flash for both players (or any character that does similar interactions).
4. On the stage select screen, go highlight the Hall of Justice. Switch the starting point (press Y) to the Great Hall.
5. When the match starts, have both players go to the right of the screen until you see the mini space jet floating on the upper part of the screen (that you can glide on).
6. Have Player 2 go to the right of the mini-jet and have Player 1 right under it.
7. Now if you have a turbo controller, set your interact button on turbo. Now tape/ rubberband the analog stick up to have Player 1's character jump up continually. Now tape/rubberband the interact button and voila way faster. Since you are continually interacting with the object the points will add each time you do it.
8. When you are ready to come back to the game after idling or not. Just make sure you finish the match with Player 1. DO NOT QUIT OR YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR POINTS!
This method seems to be a lot quicker since there are less frames to interact with the object (mini space jet) compared to the Atlantis stage. This is also possible to do manually but seems more tedious than the other method since you're also pressing up to jump, but still way faster.
Make sure you pick up a 5x multiplier!!! It definitely speeds things up!!!
*Update*
-There's been some talk about Flash glitching and not coming down from the interaction. Make sure to check your screen every few hours to see if he is okay. You can use Player 2 to knock him off the glitch.
-Just got the achievement! It took me around 20 hours and the 5x XP bonus multiplier helped big time!

Glad to help bro!
By Templar Punk on 26 Apr 2013 09:15
For those that want to know the numbers from these methods, I have a solution for you. Examining the potential actions and amount of time it takes to perform them per second, it looks like Templar Punk's method is the fastest, at approximately 2 actions per second. Doing some simple math, that goes to 120 actions per minute, and 7,200 actions per hour. At 50xp per action, we're looking at 360,000 xp per hour. Not too much right? This is just for a base run for an hour with no xp boosters.
Now for the next part, you'll need a few things here. You need a turbo controller (which I bought one off Amazon for $17.99) a wired controller (that I'm borrowing from a friend) and a friend to let you beat the crap out of them for 50 straight matches. Why 50 you ask? 50 matches will get you a 10x multiplier, which if you use in conjunction with the turbo and wired controller methods above, which earn you an ungodly amount of xp with minimal effort.
So following the methods described above, start a versus match, timer off, with your turbo controller for your account to get the achievement, and the wired set to a dummy account. Follow Templar Punk's method and use the Hall of Justice little spaceship interactable. Time for some more math! Now, instead of the original 50xp, with our 10x multiplier, we're now making 500xp per interaction! Which means, at this rate of 7,200 interactions per hour, we're looking at 3.6 million xp an hour!!! Much better right?! Some more math gives us roughly somewhere between 14 and 15 hours to get all of the experience required to get this achievement! Even if you can only do this for 10 hrs to start with, that still nets you 36 mil xp!
Also, it's worth noting that if you have 10 spare access cards, you can buy a 5x multiplier to stack with your 10x to get the elusive 15x multiplier! Some more math gives us a 750xp per action bonus (50xp x 15)!
Following the same formula, you're looking at even less time, with about 54 mil xp in 10hrs! Now of course, you have to factor in that it might not be quite 2 actions per second for this method, but I think it's very close. Even if the numbers are slightly off, you're still looking at a much, much faster way to get this achievement!
EDIT: Ok so having completed the game now, I have a bit more accurate reading for much xp this is going to take. It looks like using this method, it's about 5960 actions per hour. At 50 xp per action it's approximately 298,000 xp per hour with no multiplier. I was able to save up for a 15x multiplier, and it looks like our grand total after approximately 10 hours was 44,700,000 xp! Add another hour or two and there's your achievement!
Now of course, everyone will start at a different time, and if you do the story, star labs, and battles, you'll have less to go. I'm just barely over 1 million xp when I'll be attempting this, so I'll add onto this once I've actually attempted my run. If anyone has attempted this themselves, I'd love to hear your feedback! Let me know how I did for my first solution!

A guide to an old game but also some caution. This is a massive grind to unlock, even with a turbo controller. However, you can speed up the process by purchasing XP multiplier boost via access cards and they can help speed up the process but I would be very careful doing this as I will explain later on.
This achievement, as you all know, is unlocked by reaching level 100 which is reached when you earn 50,796,671 XP to be exact. Just to be clear, the XP requirement rises VERY sharply especially as you reach level 70 and beyond. Now if you think you are nearly there at level 70, you are nowhere close to finishing. The rise in XP requirement in later ranks may be the sharpest in any XP-related achievement in video game history. To get an idea of how much the XP requirements rise, you don't reach the quarter mark until roughly around level 85.
The original guide says level 90 is approximately halfway point. Based screencaps, level 90 is only 38% percent of the way there. The ACTUAL halfway point is reached at 25,398,336 XP which is not reached until close to the end of rank level 92! When you hit level 93, you're barely halfway there. The last seven level ranks contain almost half of all of the XP required to reach 100!
The last three ranks contain roughly a quarter of all the XP needed to reach 100! Level 97 is roughly three-quarters (75%) of the way to level 100, level 98 roughly 82%, and 99 is about 91% of the way there. The final rank alone requires nearly 4.5 to 5 million XP to reach Level 100! '
Thankfully, you can farm this by using two-controllers and play local matches and earn XP this way. However, be prepared for a long slog completing this.
That said, you can speed up the process by buying XP boosts via access cards but BE VERY CAREFUL doing this, especially early on as you will need them to buy all the costumes to unlock the "Hoarder" achievement! You can get all the costumes by level 70 if you don't waste access cards but I learned the hard way and didn't get the costumes and the "Hoarder" achievement until I was at least at level 80. You can earn more access cards if you go above level 100 if you need to but it's a massive grind by that point even level up further.
After you unlock the "Hoarder" achievement, feel free to spend access cards to buy XP boosts especially 5X XP boosts. From there, make sure you have two wired controllers plugged in, and with your main controller, TIMER-OFF, then select Doomsday and the Hall of Justice Arena. With your 5X XP boosts active, make sure Doomsday is on the far right where the robot his and then keep mashing the RB button as long as you feel you can handle it. If you don't have a turbo controller, this will unfortunately be a tedious grind but if you're way too bored, feel free to put on Netflix, or read a book in order to counter the tedious nature of doing this grind. Each time Doomsday 'grabs' the air, it counts towards an interaction. If you do this for a few hours a day, or however long you feel you can manage the grind, this should be relatively easy to complete. Just be ready to have potential carpel tunnel syndrome and sore hands if you mash too much too fast or for too long.
It took me nearly two weeks going from level 43 to level 100 using this method. DO NOT quit out the match, dashboard, or otherwise turn off the console! You MUST finish the match in order for the XP to count. Quitting, dashboarding, or turning off the console mid-match will not earn you any XP and any unused boosts will disappear and be wasted so keep this in mind when doing this. You can earn higher boosts by winning streaks on ranked online but for those of us (like myself) who get smashed online a lot, using XP boosts is the best way, as long as you finish the match first. As long as you FINISH the match, you will earn XP. DO NOT quit out or else all that XP, time, and XP boosts will have been wasted. I learned the hard way when I lost several hours after a power outage.
With that said, if you reach level 100, this achievement will unlock and you can finally breath easy, and potentially give your hands a much-needed break from the constant mashing of the RB button!

After every battle the screen shows the XP gained and this depends on how well and how many objects you interacted with, these are the possible statistics to earn after match and how many XP gives:
- Win +250 XP
- Time Remaining +80 XP (Double the time left; gives 80 if the match ends with 40 remaining)
- Health Remaining +200 XP (With Perfect in Both Rounds)
- Super Move +200 XP x1 (Multiplies the use of Super Move x200)
- Level Transition +200 XP x1 (Multiplies the Transitions used x200)
- Interactive Object +50 XP x1 (Multiplies the Interactions used x50)
- Environment Destruction +250 XP or +500 XP (It depends on how many damage you did in the Stage)
- Perfect Round +250 XP
- Perfect Match +500 XP (A Match has 2 rounds so you will only receive this Bonus if perfect both)
- Challenge Completed +1,000 XP or +5,000 XP (It depends on the random challenge)
Note: The Challenge shows right before the match starts and is totally random, some match doesn't has and some others does, and are like this:
- First player to use a environment object receive an extra XP, or
- First player with dash forward earn +1,000 etc.
You can reach maybe 45-50 level with your natural progression on the game, this doesn't includes S.T.A.R. Labs neither Battle Mode, but the "last" 50 levels will be a huge grind, there will be a good methods to boost it fast, one of them is the challenge system in KOTH (King of the Hill) matches.
This method needs 2 players for boost. Once both players are in the KOTH room, start to boost some hard challenges and the winner will net around 6,000-8,000 every match. The challenge system in KOTH works like this:
- When both players are in the Character Select Screen change to Tether Mode with button and you will see the Challenge Option at the bottom of the screen, select it with and you will see the Challenges available.
- Those challenges go from Easy, Medium to Hard and the rewards are bigger as you pick higher difficulties.
- Always select a Hard challenge like "Don't take any damage and win the match" and press , you will see a green tick on it.
- Go back to the Character Select Screen, and start the match.
- Your rival needs to be idle and you will win the match and the 5,000 XP plus the XP for ending the match.
- Keep trading wins doing this method.
Also there is the Access Card System which allows you to buy some 2x 3x 4x or 5x Match Boost that multiplies your XP gained across all your fights but take note that this isn't recommended because you will need those Access Cards to unlock the Collectibles and these cards are hard to earn.
Warning: You lose the XP boost if you quit to XMB or turn off your console, so you should try to use it up before quitting (thanks to bs000 for the tip).

Crossing level 40 the cap between levels increase drastically, for example:
- Level 38: 247,000 XP needed
- Level 47: 474,000 XP needed
- Level 52: 692,000 XP needed
Assuming you can gain around 1,500-2,000 maybe per normal match or 6,000-8,000 with the KOTH boosting method. You need to spend a lot of hours reaching the 100th level, even boosting it with a partner Online.

Save this trophy for the end. For example, I get others and I’m already lvl 60, despite the fact that I haven’t completed all the battles and all the missions of the star lab with three stars.

In fact, everything is quite simple and the trophy can be made in about a week. To do this, you will need any turbo joystick, a piece of adhesive tape or a toothpick. Select the mode for two players, be sure to select a strongman, for example Solomon Grundy, select the arena hall of justice. Next go to the very right edge of the screen and there will be a robot, where there will be an opportunity to press the capture button next to it. Next, put the capture button on the turbo and clamp it with a tape or toothpick, and so on, if you swing for about 8 hours a day with the purchased double points, then in about in a week you will accumulate 50 million. You will get about 4 million per day, and with a doubling of 8.

Level 100 is 50, 796, 671XP
Example (boost):
Let's say in the first few days you reached level 52 - that's 692,000 XP. To reach the hundredth level, roughly speaking, another 50, 105,000 is needed.
For each jump on the ball you get 50 XP . We count: 50, 105, 000 / 50 = 1, 002, 100. That is, more than a million jumps, and therefore the same number of presses on R1.
One jump takes approximately 1 second. 1, 002, 100 seconds.
1,002,100 / 60 = 16,702 minutes.
16,702 / 60 = 278 hours!
Playing for 2 hours a day (more precisely, not playing, but stupidly pressing ), you will have to spend 139 days of your life . Almost 5 months. It won’t take long for you to go crazy... And 2 hours of such tediousness is an optimistic option...

This trophy can be obtained using two joysticks with almost no effort. The first player needs a turbo joystick. Set the settings to unlimited battle, do not forget to take the experience boost x5, do it as in the video from the previous tip, fixing the button on the turbo joystick. Of course, you will have to wait a long time for the trophy to appear, but you will hardly have to strain.
PS: do not forget to end the battle with your victory, and not by simply exiting, otherwise the experience will not be counted.
