How to unlock the Natural Connection achievement in Inscryption - Definitive Guide
Useful tip: During the second phase of the battle, you'll be able to create your own custom card to send out to a random person, but if you're offline OR if there's no one else facing Golly at the same time as you, YOU get the card yourself immediately!
Here's a very powerful custom card to make: Stats: 0 energy cost, 0 attack, and 1 health. Sigils: Unkillable, Battery Bearer, Brittle, and Detonator. By summoning it and hitting it with the Hammer (X button), you'll get unlimited energy as well as become able to destroy every card G0lly has!
Note: There used to be a soft-lock bug at the start of the fight which was patched

The left side of the map in Act III brings in new game elements that broaden what you can do with your cards in a lot of fun ways. The top left area is related to P03's Temple of Technology from Act II and involves adding conduit mechanics to your Empty Vessels as well as new current-based cards and buffs for your existing deck.
You will find towers along your path in the four corners of the area that will connect satellites to a central hub. Once you have connected the satellites, you can use the hub as an elevator to get to a higher level. In this area you will have the boss console in front of you, but it will not be operational. You can head to the left-most room to unlock the Trader (See Forgotten Lore ) You will need the Halo key from the Bone Lord from Act II for this missable trophy. Then travel right for a regular card Battle and then up to find the fifth satellite. Turn this on and the boss console will be ready to access.
The G0lly battle will defintely feel different than most of the other fights and has an online mechanic that, frankly, feels cumbersome and weighs the gameplay down, so if you have the chance to turn off your internet connection going in to the battle you may want to do so to cut down on the wait time.
The first round of the battle plays mostly as a normal card battle with a few exceptions. The cards G0lly will put in play will first be typical cards but now use pictures from the internet, then soon after, will become death cards of some of your PSN friends. At some point, G0lly will get a card made by someone else and give it to you to use. This will hopefully be a well balanced card that offers a few decent sigils or has a good amount of power. If you can win the round with this card, you will hopefully see the end of the round pretty quickly, because once you make it to round two, its time to pay it forward.
That card that you were given (if you are logged into PSN) was made by another player in real time. In round two, you will be tasked with creating a card with 6 SP which can allow you to determine the cost, Power and Health, as well as up to four Sigils. You should be familiar with this system by now as there are a few opportunities to build cards on your way to this fight (including one right next to the last satellite you needed to activate) but if you are not aware, keep in mind a few things:

You should be familiar with this system by now as there are a few opportunities to build cards on your way to this fight (including one right next to the last satellite you needed to activate) but if you are not aware, keep in mind a few things:
- Giving the card a higher cost increases the amount you can add to the Power / Health and allow for harder hitting Sigils
- Mixing in a Brittle , Annoying or Airborne Sigil will allow for more SP that can be used to lower the cost or add to the Power / Health
- Balancing these two factors will give you the chance to make a card that can either be used over and over with low or no cost but is weak or doesn't last long OR can be used at a pivotal moment to make a big hit or deathblow
Make the card you want to send out to the world and prepare to see if you breeze through the second round or if its back to the same card play on your own, because if your card is sent out to a player online and they win their first round with it (just like you did in yours) then you will automatically win the battle and get this trophy. If the card is sent to a random player that is casually playing on their own timeline and doesn't seem to be winning any time soon, or loses the first round, you will be sent back to the board for round two to fight with your cards again.
