How to unlock the Enduring Victory achievement in Inscryption - Definitive Guide

Before this battle you will face 2 trials. For each trial you pass you will get a boon that will help you in the battle. Try to pick boons that synergize with your deck.

Phase 1 will have your opponent putting on masks from the first three bosses and using their mechanics from those battles, so by now you should be familiar with how those work and can hopefully strategize around those mechanics.

Phase 2 your opponent will lay out some blockers and start playing some... familiar cards? But otherwise he will continue switching masks, so continue working around those mechanics.

Phase 3 is last, and just try to do as much damage as possible. The stinkbug, or any card with the stink sigil will be particularly helpful in this phase.

Leshy is the final boss in Act I, defeating him will allow you to move on to Act II only if you have fulfilled the requirements of Innocuous Insect trophy_bronze.png, Uncage the Menagerie trophy_bronze.png, Ancestral Vision trophy_bronze.png and Reborn Hope trophy_bronze.png, Otherwise, even a successful completion of this boss fight will put you back at the beginning of Act I yet again. You can play through the first Act as many times as you like, but you will need to play through it an additional 13 plus times while playing Kaycee's Mod in the post-game, so I suggest you look into those trophies to save you a few runs of the game.

Either way, once you have bested the third boss (see Face to Face trophy_bronze.png) you will enter the final purple-hued map that will give you three options of a destination and then the Leshy Fight. Once you step into the Leshy fight along your path you will be presented Boons for your fight. Just like the cave trials, you will pick from three options for each Trial and then the Boon you can receive from it, these Boons can award you such helpful items as the Magpie's Eye, which lets you pick any card out of your deck to go in your hand, or the Boon of the Bone Lord which gives you 8 bones at the start of the battle, among other useful rewards. After the Boon trial, your battle with Leshy will begin.

Leshy will cheat right at the beginning (what would you expect at this point?) and add a candle to his side, so there will be three rounds. On both round one and two, Leshy will cycle through the masks he has worn throughout the game and will use the other boss abilities randomly. You may see one or more of your cards get stolen by the Fish Hook, cleaved by the Prospector's axe and turned to gold, or turned into pelts by the Trader used to remove your opponent's cards. Play as you would any other totem or boss battle and look out for the heavy hitting cards or anything that has flight and can take out your precious five hit points directly. Keep in mind you have one life and he has three. It should also be mentioned, If you currently have The Angler's Fish Hook while Leshy is wearing The Angler mask after stealing one of your cards, you can get Role Reversal trophy_silver.png during this fight!

Make it through the first two rounds and Leshy will reset and put down his final card. This card is large and takes up eight spots, it has a health of 40 and an attack of 1, but it has the sigil that shields from flying attacks (Mighty Leap) and two new sigils that will deal out one hit point to each of your cards. Use whatever attacking cards you can assemble to whittle down the 40 hit points and then finish Leshy off with the last five points to end the battle.

If you have the item from Reborn Hope trophy_bronze.png, now is the time to use it to move on to Act II. if not, play through Act I again to unlock some more of the lore and explore the rest of the puzzles in the cabin.

A walkthrough of the boss battle can be seen in the following linked video. Story spoilers for the ending of Act I within:
