How to unlock the Grim Bounty achievement in Inscryption - Definitive Guide
I used the YouTube video below to get this. The trick is to use Act 2 to boost the card Ouroboros first. I boosted mine to 99 stats on both attack and life. That's more than enough to do the job.
Here's a guide on how to do boost the Ouroboros during Act 2:
https://www.ign.com/wikis/inscryption/How_to_Get_Infinite_Ou...
Then watch this video (skip to 1:30):
After you complete Act 2, play long enough in Act 3 to get up from the table. Turn around an make the clock appear. Set the time to 4 o'clock and grab the boosted Ouroboros card (don't worry if the stats look low). Do the boring task to get the battery and return to fight in Act 3.
Kill an enemy with the boosted Ouroboros and you'll instantly get a 3 star bounty. Then go out and find another battle or two and a bounty hunter should appear.
Note that the bounty hunter cards are the yellow/orange ones that appear during a battle. If you find yourself losing the bounty hunter battle, you can quit the game and the reload to try again.

This is a fine solution but you don’t have to have a boosted Ouroboros to get a 3 star bounty. I got one just by winning enough battles in a row and defeating the level 1 and 2 bounty hunters.

If you want to use a high powered Ourobot you don't need to start at act 2. Grab it by setting the clock to the left of P03 to 4:00. Then just get into a battle with a stable boardstate and summon Ourobot and hammer it (X on console) every turn to make it stronger.

THIS ACHIEVEMENT IS A MAJOR SPOILER FOR INSCRYPTIONS POST-GAME.
You can only achieve this one after beating Leshy
Act III brings in a few new mechanics to the game while borrowing from Act I and Act II on others. One of the new additions to the final Act is the bounty system. Essentially, win enough sequential card battles and you will see a star above your avatar's head. This will be your Bounty Level. Continue to win further card battles without suffering any losses and your Bounty Level will increase up to three stars.
Once you reach Bounty Level One, you will begin seeing new cards being played by your opponent. These cards will be talking cards that have an introductory monologue, a fun name and design and, usually, a pretty hefty Power and Health level. These cards can be defeated in a number of ways.

- You can dispatch the Bounty Hunter through brute force with your most powerful cards
- Attack an Explode Bot or other Detonator card next to the Bounty Hunter
- Attach a Detonator Sigil
from a Bomb Latcher card
or the Brittle Sigil
from a Skel-e-Latcher card
on to the Bounty Hunter
Use this technique to handle any Bounty Hunters you see in your gameplay until you reach Bounty Level 3 and take out your first Level 3 Bounty Hunter for this trophy
This is earned in Act 3.
The first thing you will want to do is power up an Ouroboros in Act 2 using the technique from Devil's Play (50G) You don't need to go too crazy with it, the Ouroboros at 10/10 will be enough. Once you get to Act 3 you can not go back. You can still do this achievement without an Ouroboros, but having one makes it easier. You can always beat the game, then use chapter select to go back to Act 2, power up the Ouroboros and then move on to Act 3 to get this achievement.
As you beat battles in Act 3 without dying you will earn stars above your head. The stars means there is a chance that a bounty hunter card will show up during a battle. The more stars the stronger the bounty hunter card will be. Once you get to 3 stars you will need to kill the bounty hunter card to get the achievement.
You have to unlock the Ouroboros before it will show up in your deck. Once you are able to stand up turn to the cuckoo clock and set the time fo 4 o'clock. It will have all the stats from Act 2.
If you are having trouble winning fights in a row you are able to game the system. The game does not save until after a battle ends. If you feel you are going to lose you can quit to the home screen. When you reload the game you will be right before the fight with nothing lost. Also it is not necessary to fight different fights. I would recommend finding a fight that you can easily win right next to a save point. Simply go back and forth to the one fight and the save point until you build up your three stars.

In the third act, you need to maintain a win-win streak until 3 stars appear above your head. In the next battle, the hunter card will be played against you. Kill her and the trophy is yours.
Usually there is a Bombbot next to her, it’s easier to kill him, the hunter will be blown away by a bomb))

You can farm stars and money at the very first checkpoint. Cross the bridge and fight the first enemy. The only cards he will have are bot alarm clocks; they can be easily destroyed. After winning with a bonus, we run back to the control point to recover and the enemies are reborn. Repeat until required quantity.
