Here's a video of my playing through each Time Attack level in order. There are a couple of failures because it's one straight stream, but it should get you through any problem spots and give you a feel for the rhythm you need. There aren't any real shortcuts to beating this that I've found, the most efficient paths are indicated by the stopwatches anyway.

I apologize in advance to anyone looking for a full guide for all the Time Attack levels. I've written this guide to help with the ending of one specific level. If you're looking for general tips for all the levels, it really really helps to constantly push B to pulse with the rhythm of the level's song. I highly recommend playing with rhythm help enabled (press RB to activate rhythm help). In each level try to collect every single white clock (each gives you an extra 5+ seconds to deal with in each level). This achievement won't be easy - expect to play some of these levels over and over again. You have to almost know the levels by heart to get through them with few mistakes and enough time left over.

Anyway, onto the main reason I've written this guide:

The fifth Time Attack level is called "Tuning Root" and it has some very difficult tuning puzzles at the very end of the level. There are four consecutive tuning puzzles at the end. Below is what the tuning puzzles look like. In the middle is a set of equalizer bars. On the left are tuning booths - you have to push LT or RT on the tuning booths in the correct sequence in order to modify the shape of the equalizer bars. You want the new shape of the equalizer bars to form a traversable path.



Below are the solutions for each of the four tuning puzzles. This will allow you to avoid wasting time in the Tuning Root Time Attack level - why waste time trying to brute force these tuning puzzles when Time Attack is constantly draining your clock toward zero!

FYI for each step, to make things a bit more readable, I've come up with this nomenclature: {Position of tuning booth}+{Button press}. I.E. 1RT = On the leftmost tuning booth, press RT. Or 2RT = On the middle tuning booth, press RT. Or 3LT = On the rightmost tuning booth, press LT. And so on.

First tuning puzzle solution:
