Be aware: There is some luck involved getting this achievement.
Most of the time the knife either won't register a hit or the damage seems to be to low.
Try to catch an enemy off guard and try to "aim" for the head!
As always, it's a bit easier on PvE

30+ knife kills between PvP and PvE, not unlock

Not sure if it can be done in Local play or not, but it doesn't register for me either.

Sneak up on an enemy back out your knife and do them like Jack the Ripper. Works against bots also. Has to be knife not a rifle butt.
