How to unlock the What Does It Mean? achievement in Iron Crypticle - Definitive Guide

You unlock this achievement by collecting all the 7 colored diamonds:

Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Light Blue
Dark Blue
Pink

I did this by playing Endless mode on Easy.
And on Wave 17 I picked up the last diamond.
When you play on Easy the game drops al lot of Health items.

I got my 6th on wave 40, never saw the 7th. I'm really surprised you got all of them by wave 17.

Yeah I just got to wave 39 and I got 6 of the gems at least twice each but could never get the 7th colour to appear.

I've only ever gotten 6 myself in New Game, and I had 5 on wave 20 once. Extremely surprised how easily you got all 7 by wave 17.

I've met the criteria 4 times now, endless mode and campaign but it still hasn't popped...🤔

I actually just got it by playing on Normal in regular New Game. Ended up getting the achievement by the end of floor 3. I suggest doing the campaign and not Endless. Much easier that way imo.

This achievement requires you to collect all seven colored jewels. The ones you have are displayed at the bottom of your stats screen on the left. You will assuredly collect some amount of these during each run, but getting all seven can really come down to luck. I have seen some people mention going for this in Endless Mode, since it's endless and doesn't need money for anything. However, most people's experience is that it takes 20+ waves to get lucky with the drops, and that's not the easiest most casual thing to do in the world. I opted to go for this in a normal run, and when I actually tried for it, I got it on Floor 3 of a New Game run. You still unavoidably need to rely on luck to get drops, but you also need to prioritize buying jewels from shops too. It'll be harder to survive without buying all stat upgrades, but you hopefully shouldn't need to buy more than two or three jewels from shops, with the rest hopefully dropping naturally. You can definitely try for this on NG+ so that you have more rooms and time to collect all seven before completing a run too.
