Madame Tentacles is to be the boss of floor 5 in New Game +. To unlock New Game + you first need to beat New Game, which consists of 4 randomized floors. The good news is that you can do all of this on the Easy difficulty, which provides more time per floor before Goblins come to kill you, as well as far more frequent hearts to refill your health.

My first time fighting Madame Tentacles was super easy - I put down a ton of damage and dodged a few fireballs and she was dead in no time since I had a ton of upgrades. Hopefully the same is true for you, since I can't provide a ton of advice on the actual fight.

My general strategy for this game:
- Play on Easy! The game is hard enough as it is.
- If you don't have the floor map, move to rooms that have multiple exits as you get to 'scout' rooms you are directly connected to. Ideally you find a map early each floor, but its entirely random.
- Always hit the Arcade Rooms (looks like a joystick and 2 buttons). They cost 10 coins to enter, but can easily provide 50+ coins and even if you lose its a free room without the possibility of health loss.
- Always aim for stores. Once there purchase stat increases whenever possible. Ignore other things unless you really need a health refill. I never bought gems or gauntlets personally.
- Try to avoid special rooms (mud pits, cemetary, and catacombs) unless you need the associated achievements. They are dark and easy to mess up in.
- Try to focus on killing ranged enemies when possible. They can ruin your day.
- Kill first, collect second. On easy you'll get plenty of food to stack x8 bonuses along the way. The only possible exception is stat upgrades. You really don't want to miss those as they are limited and highly beneficial.

Beyond that the only thing that really will help is playing the game and learning all the boss/enemy patterns. Good luck!
