In Frosty Floes on Icecap Island, you will be introduced to bankimals that reward Yen rather than Doubloons, which needs to be exchanged. When you've cleared the area, you will be able to go over to an exchange machine. Once you've made it accessible, you'll see that the amount of Doubloons you will receive fluctuates. Wait until 1 Yen is equivalent to 3 Doubloons before shooting the Yen into the machine and you'll get this trophy.
