Jetpac Refuelled

The best way to grab this achievement is to setup a 20 minute (max) player match with a friend.

Once you're in the game, concentrate as much as possible on assembling your rocket and fueling it up. Don't go out of your way to grab powerups or shoot enemies. You'll get way more points by launching your ship than by wasting time killing everything. If you haven't played much of the game, you need to assemble your rocket with the 2 pieces on the map first, then bring 6 fuel containers to it and get inside. The first part of your rocket is ALWAYS on the left.

The achievement will pop in the game once you reach 500,000 points. It should take about 10 minutes. If you're having trouble finding someone to play this with, you can easily find someone by setting up a gaming session especially after Rare Replay was released. If you setup a player match for 20 minutes both of you can get the achievement in the same game if one concentrates on their ship and then the other one goes.

To get this you need to get 500,000 points EACH in a multiplayer game. Getting 500,000 points combined won't unlock the achievement. If you're having trouble with this then I would recommend that you try and get it one person at a time. So one person tries to guard the other by using bombs to clear the screen, letting the person going for the achievement pick up 2 weapon powerups and then pick up 2 yourself so you both have the spread laser and suiciding into enemies as a last resort. This should make the achievement much easier to get. If you both go for it at the same time then a 20 minute match is necessary but if you go for it individually then a 10 minute match should be sufficient.

Easiest way is to start a Player Match, invite a friend in, and set the game length to 20 (minutes). This gives both of you plenty of time to get a half million each.
